That is super encouraging!! When i was doing research into pixel art enemies in games, i noticed many titles like hyper light drifter and children of morta only animate their enemies in 1 direction just like my goblin and amazingly these basic animations work pretty good for top down games! I put the goblin in godot and felt good as an enemy. But anyways maybe i can update him someday to be 8 directional, just not sure how worth that is because its a  ton of work for an uncertain payoff. Just to show off my next goblin the shoot animation will be 8 directional :]
