that honestly makes me curious as to how the ending of the game would change if that did happen, to block the happy ending after restarting the game, but i like the idea that you can keep doing it

thats good to know, thank you

when i was starting up this game, i was planning to play a few different game today, thinking this wouldnt be very long. but it ended up taking my whole day, and i am honestly not complaining. this was honestly worth the hours put into it

made fanart because i think this game is a new hyperfixation / obsession https://www.deviantart.com/samxboo/art/take-the-cat-home-1016398642

what happens if i get the true ending and then want to "play" with it again after clicking the dots on the menu? i dont really want to lose the true ending but i am pretty curious

spent about four hours today going through this game and getting all the endings, and i can see why people say this hints at an abusive relationship. the way the creature begs you to stay when youre fully ready to abandon it and finally choose your own path, trying to convince you that it truly loves you and wants you to stay, and yet you persist that its lying. you dont bend to its manipulation anymore, its emotional and physical torment. you dont falter, and you dont have any regrets leaving it behind. the ending is a very nice conclusion to the game. i was almost tempted to continue it, to "play" with it again, but i decided not to, i decided the ending was well set as it was. i didnt want to go back. i wanted to leave them at the happy conclusion, the fact that your character is trying to move on, people do say this is hinting at an abusive relationship, and towards the end, i could definitely see why. it fails and fails to convince you to stay, and in the end finally gives up and tells you it truly hates you, and goes away, hopefully never to come back. and the recovery process as shown afterward was truly great. everything about this game is great. i started to tear up when we get home to see a kitten, a normal kitten, one we could spend our life with. i like to think we did have completely moved on and healed from our experience with the creature, and lived a happy life with our new kitten.
