Hello. I see game here is still in version v1.1.23 but in Steam it is version v1.2.3 for 3 months ago?

would like to buy game here if possible but is there still updates in
itch.io? I saw in old development log that it was late only because of
accident, so maybe same thing happened again.
I also ask why there is no pay with card for this game? But other Darkstone Digital games have?
