It's not that much since you'll be uploading it to another platform and get a lot more eyes on it so you'll probably make that money back on top of steam giving the deposit back as well. The choice to upload it to steam is more about if you think you'll reach the amount of purchases required to get your deposit back (so you'd have to think about what to price it and if you already have that audience there willing to pay for it) and also if you even have that much to spend in the moment. I think it's not that much in context but obv if you can't pay then you can't. I still think it's better to have it on itch and steam to get the most people to see it so i hope the dev can upload it to steam one day.

Amazon fire tablets dont run most of these games because it's outdated and needs a newer device to run it. also maybe ask your parents for a pc or wait to be 18 😂

there's little easter eggs of other characters so that's probably what you saw and try to pc is the issue like with it's specs (im assuming you have a shit pc or laptop)
