Thanks, Niven! More to come soon.

Thanks for playing! More to come soon...

Thanks for playing! More to come soon ;)

Thank you for playing!

drop a comment if you made a PSX / retro-styled horror game for the jam - I’d love to check it out!

thanks! After the jam is over I’m going to spend a few weeks finishing off the story and polishing some bugs.

I use unreal which doesn’t allow web builds unfortunately. In the future i want to shrink the package size so there’s less friction. Thanks for playing.

Love the papers please vibes. Great job.

Great atmosphere and vibe!

Super polished. Sound design and environment are fantastic, great job.

Very funny game, love the vibes. Nice job

Absolutely amazing vibe, art, and music. Great job!

Really like the setting/atmosphere, nice work

Great environment and sound design, nice job!

Great job on the setting and whole environment design, fits the jam theme really well.

I re used a lot of the systems I've been working on for a separate commercial game. So things like the menu and dialogue is months in the making.

Appreciate the kind words. Input prompts were something I knew I needed to add but didn't have enough time to place them everywhere.

Agree on the package size, it's an unreal game so already is pretty big (and ue5 doesn't really support web builds). I was making attempts at the end of the jam to reduce the build but had little success. Have to learn more about that for later releases. Thanks for playing regardless of that!

Thank you! Noted on the movement issue, I'll look into that.

The art style and sound design are beautiful! Great job.

Danke shön!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing! I do wish there could've been more to the ending and deeper interactions, but I'll follow up on this soon..

A few people have mentioned the sens so I might go in and lower it. I didn't have time to build a settings menu but that's probably worth changing

Thanks for the words! Yes I've heard that feedback and even felt it myself going back. I didn't have time to do much with settings for the game jam. I'm working through building a nice UI system atm so might incorporate that back.

Appreciate the words! Thanks for playing.

haha I ran out of time to provide more closure to that ending.. but hope to follow up on it soon ;)

thanks for playing!

thanks! I think for this scene specifically the filter I had applied made everything feel cohesive. And a small amount of film grain and lens distortion (a curvature effect). I used an asset pack for the office so I can't take credit for how that fits with everything.

oops... somehow I had checked 'hide this download' when I updated the build (fixing typos for one of the date changes). should be fixed now!

Thanks! There was supposed to be more of a connection in the ending and reflecting on loss.

The former thought is correct. The ending had to be abrupt because I ran out of time. I hope to expand on it in the future ;)

Thanks man!

Thanks for playing!

I agree that the ending was abrupt,  but more is planned for the future. I ran out of time before I could add more context/polish.

Thanks for playing! Loved the video

thank you!

I didn’t have enough time to make the ending better but it was supposed to be how death gives you the opportunity to appreciate life.. thank you!

thank you! Sorry what do you mean by you didn’t get the final clearly?
