Hey, let's connect on discord, I'll send you a request :)

A replay button would be great :) Else it's ... fun is the wrong word I guess, but it's cool!

I appreciate there's a web build and the graphics are really cool :)

Is it possible for you to upload a web version?

Wow that's a very polished puzzle game :) A success popup would've been great though.

Very cool interpretation of the theme and it was a fun experience :D

Thank you so much for playing and leaving such a supportive comment <3

You lucky guy! It's not a bug, it's the only way to win I guess ;) I wasn't able to balance the game out before I had to go to sleep and only had 3 hours total to make it. I'm really thankful you took the time to play and leave a review <3

Nooooooo! I knew it was off. But couldn't tell and was in a rush to get things done. The strategy is outlined in another comment: Try to get rid of the frogs in the first night or be doomed. Isn't that horrifying? I'm very thankful you took the time to play and leave a review <3 Means the world. I wasn't able to balance the game before I needed to call it a day...

That's the horror element ;) For both of us. You're horrified by the the helpless situation. I'm, afraid of your vote. But that's life, I guess. In all seriousness, I started 3 hours before the deadline, so I got the bare minimum done and didn't have enough time to balance it out :/ Now it depends on your luck whether your first night goes well, because if it doesn't, you're doomed. Thank you for taking the time to play and write a short comment <3

Edit: 3 hours before I needed to go to bed, the deadline was still ~6 hours away. Didn't mean to over dramatize.

FYI: When you decide not to shoot him after using the restrrom there's another error. But overall, it's a cute little game!

Simple and funny game :)

YOU DIVORCE ME?? I DIVORCE YOU!!! lol Great concept, art and music! Love it :)

Cool game, simple and fits the theme! Keep it up :)

I like the graphics, but once I had a single typo ALL following words were wrong :D I didn't find a way to type in another word.

This is really really awesome! Even for 8 hours, I love the level of polish. It fits the theme, gameplay is hard but nice. The balance could be a little more forgiving (I was only hunting monsters and could not repair my minecart), but all in all I love it!

I LOVE SHRIMPS AND HATE JALAPENOS THIS IS MY GAME!!!!!11 Fantastic job, I need that cannon NOW!!!!!!!!!!

That's a really cool game! There's actually nothing I don't like about it :D I got something over 250 points.

Thank you for sharing these assets! I used them in my game jam entry if you'd like to have a look :) https://hyltia.itch.io/frozen-yogurt-stand

"Run problem" already made it for me xD And the humor continued into the game itself :D Fun theme, but the game was a bit flat. Maybe  limiting the amount of pizzas would have been nice. This way, I could just spam space going up and down. On the other hand - you beautifully picked that fact up and incorporated it into the style of humor, soooo - nice job :D

Very interesting idea and cool implementation! This jam's really packed with outside the box thinking. I like it :)

Cool concept! I'd liked it to be faster in a way... There were long waiting times between the items. Apart from that it was really fun and well done!

Really cool idea :D As already mentioned by others, the respawn should've been randomized, but it's satisfying nonetheless and also pretty relatable xD

Fun idea and cool art! I found it very difficult to aim for the planets though. They constantly flew by to my side and I was starving pretty quickly :D

Nice this is easily my favorite game so far! Really polished and cool concept!

Cool concept! Would make a really cool educational game if you enhanced the graphics and added more equation styles (as you mentioned in your other comment). Nice one!

That's an unexpectedly deep game! And I really like the graphics. The controls for me are a little strange; on the one hand they are too sensitive (acceleration) and likewise too little sensitive (deceleration). Put simply, I gain a lot of speed pretty quickly, but cannot steer well. I don't know if it's intentional, but I'd love a little tweaking there. Apart from that, it's really cool!

Thank you very much :) Unfortunately I ran out of time and could not do other things than the main game loop mechanics :D

Thank you very much for the in-depth review!

Yea, it's designed as a relaxing game. I took much inspiration from this Android game, left out many of the features and gave it a little twist to match the theme: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tinytouchtales.alchi&pcampaign...

I was coding until the last second of my timer (literally xD) and I just didn't manage to add a menu, restart, credits or even a winning screen :( It's my third game in this Trijam series and I'm still trying to find the correct scope, so I can deliver a complete game. But I'm getting closer and closer.

I'll disable full screen mode, thank you for the feedback!

The no-go ingredient was designed to be optional. There's a 30% chance to appear for each customer individually (not 30% of all customers have it). This would have been a mechanic to realize a difficulty system, but again, not within the time constraint :D

Cool idea and really fits the theme!

Hahaha nice job! I really like the idea and implementation!

Thank you for your nice comment and congratulations :) That was pretty quick!

Thank you very much for your nice comment :)

A shame you ran out of time ;) I love the title animation when you click the Start Game button!!

Really nice game and incredible work for 3 hours of time :)

(1 edit)

I'm using Firefox and a PS4 controller :)

Edit: Iwas also unableto press the A button to restart the game (apparently I don't have one, but no other buttonworkerd, either)

That was my favorite game so far! Really great concept and solid implementation :) It would be cool if I could zoom out for a second or so, with a cooldown :D
