Take note that this method doesn't work on weaker slime from the first arc.

You need to encounter the strong version of slime (after you returned from the mountain).

Then you use two fire bombs, on second use of the bomb it turns into a flame slime.

Lastly, you kill it and you acquire a flaming slime gem.
