I have tested that spot, tried to physically get stuck there and could not in both first and third person view. What view were you in? What are your PC specs or what resolution were you running the game in? Just curious..

(edit) Each area around a radio will have a stray blood trail leading somewhat to the next one.. Lanterns are an easter egg with backstory on this part.
