I can't play past the end of act 3, whenever I reach the end of act 3 there's no option to move on. I've tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it but nothing is working. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Basically the title. The backgrounds keep flashing black really quickly. The game is still playable but it's really distracting.  I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it and it didn't fix it. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it?

is there a guide somewhere? I've tried everything I can think of and I still cant get enough money to buy the iron. Also when i tried to cut down the log with the hacksaw nothing happened

How do I beat the killer mushrooms? I can't attack them or figure out how to get a weapon

I cant figure out how to clean myself or get past the first area. I cant craft anything or find anyone. I've seen comments about how there should be a merchant but I cant find anything. Anyone have any idea where I should go or what to do?
