Final reply for now. I was able to get it to run by pulling the entire package that got downloaded from the folder I had it in and then just put it on my desktop. If anyone is able to figure out how to get it to run from wherever it is stored, please let me know and thank you in advance.

For more information, when I open the .exe file, the title of shows as mkxp-z and not the actual name. I redownloaded it from here, unzipped the file, and clicked the .exe file immediately and the same error showed up.

I'm not sure what issue I have when starting the game. When I run the .exe file, a popup comes up saying, "No script file has been specified. Check the game's INI and try again." Would anyone know how I could fix?
