Indie is disappointed with me, you should see the look in his eyes...
XD

Great! Happy to help and good luck with your game!

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!

You finished it! And you said the magic word "Steam", that gets my zombie heart buzzing.
Much appreciated!

Oh  nice, I'll give them a try. There's so many it's easy to overlook real good ones, good thinking.

Yep, the little rock guys look innocent but once you create them it's game over. I should really put in more ways of dealing with them, shrooms emit a protective field, but that doesn't seem enough. I'd say shooting them with the rock breaking gun is what I wanna do when I play, but is that still cozy?

Anyway, thanks for the feedback, great to hear!
I'm getting pretty hyped up to make that game now.

Oh cool, you made stone fiends! Thanks for playing and feedback, happy you enjoyed it.
I like the mixing too,  good to know it gets more votes than just mine, will expand it.

I'm making a game asset pack (3D low poly) and I'd love your input!
Since I wanna make something people will actually use for their games.

Any assets you'd like to see out there? Maybe you looked for something and didn't find it? What did you need / use during the jam?
I already released a forest pack (on my profile if you wanna check it out, it's free), so that is covered.

Any thoughts, ideas, opinions are much appreciated.

If you're still accepting, I'm curious what you think:

Bioms

I like your art, a lot! Small things make the game not as smooth as it should be, like a delay after pressing F (makes fighting harder but not in a good way) or that sometimes trees are obstacles and sometimes they aren't, even though they look the same. But overall good work, I enjoyed it.

I can play your game, but I can't rate it for ShovelJam, or find it in submissions, is that a bug?

Hello bored teacher, here's my game if you still have space: https://hooray4brains.itch.io/bioms
Thx! And will be checking yours soon

Hi, yours looks promising, will give it a go and rate.
Here's me: https://hooray4brains.itch.io/bioms

I'm 17, give it a spin if you'd like https://hooray4brains.itch.io/bioms

Oh yeah, I will. Great to know it piqued your interest, thanks!

Ah, this is seriously lovely. Also I can relate to that feeling he has, so it was surprisingly moving. Congrats!

Just did, the artist in me is satisfied. Great stuff!

Clients loved me, hah! This was fun and different and it made me wonder why am I drawing the things I am drawing, I mean, what's the first thing that comes to mind when given so little time to draw. Very cool

Just did

Ha, really cool take on the theme. I like your game a lot, nice art, sound design, polished. Impressive intro to game jams (high five from a fellow newbie)

Looks and sounds very pro, impressive. On the gameplay side I had a feeling of not enough control, things kinda happening without me, which got in the way of immersion. Good job anyhow

That it is, I managed to sell an apple. Turns out my problem is mostly technical - it took me a while to place a shelf,  I clicked around until  I found a spot where it finally happened. It's the same with other tools - I can remove the floor tiles (though I have to click a bit lower than the tile itself) but placing new ones, or walls or other things is very hard and random.

Thanks! Just played yours, it's fire

This is great! Polished to the level where pressing keys feels satisfying. Also I enjoyed how the game teaches me how to play it, very well paced. Congrats

Great to hear, thanks! Gets me excited to keep working on it.

Not much sleep, that's how, and now I'm really feeling it haha
Thanks for playing, I love it that you love it!

Haha, damn, I'm impressed

I also got lost, didn't know how to open the store for sales. This is up my alley otherwise, nice little store, would play. Cool comic art too.

Thx! Playing yours now

Nice puzzles and clear on what's going on, which is a big plus. Had fun. Good job!

Must DESTROY things! Never knew this about myself.
Impressive first game!

This is hard to play and very silly, I liked it a lot! The cute wiggle makes you wanna keep trying, even when you're ready to give up. Good stuff

Thanks Chris! Going over to yours now.

Love reading that, I like that mechanic too. Thanks for playing and feedback!

Thanks! Great to hear, glad you enjoyed it.

Thx I liked yours!

Simple but fun. The game-switching keeps it fresh, some are more engaging than others, but that adds variety. Hitting Start bricks with a skull is deep, man. Also, eye-catching art. Well done

Oh man this one is a challenge haha, controls are wild but it does make you try again and again. Fun!

Hi! Not sure how you speed run a farm sim, but I'd be curios, here you go https://hooray4brains.itch.io/bioms
