Good job, it's getting good! The game is fast and is starting to keep me on my toes.

On a less happy note, the score is still causing problems... The number of the beast this time is 32,768 (see a little after 7min25s). Sometimes the game gives a lot of lives at once and I couldn't figure out how it works. Some glitches on the game over screen too.

As it stands now, this is the best version of Phoenix ever. This is how the arcade game should have been from the beginning. The game as a whole seems fairer, there are no score bug and the force field works correctly every time.

The score counting is now stranger than before.馃ぃ When it reaches 9,999 it goes to 110,000; from 119,999 to 220,000; from 229,999 to 330,000; from 339,999 to 440,000; from 449,999 to 550,000 and from 559,999 to 660,000. The score limit is between 665,000 and 666,000, when it returns to zero and the game speed returns to the original. The leftmost digit of the score never goes beyond zero.

I recorded a video this time, playing on the latest version of the Jzintv emulator. It went until wave 80, when nature called and I was forced to abandon the game. The score resets to zero 3 times in the video.

I played the build you released today (up to level 108) and I think at least part of the problem with the slowness comes from the score count. The score has five digits but does not go up to 99,999; it resets to zero after 65,535. The game starts fast and slows down as the score increases. As it approaches 65,535, things get slower and slower. When it exceeds that value and resets, the game becomes fast again, like at the beginning, and the cycle starts over. I did this in a single longplay several times in a row playing on the Jzintv emulator and observed the behaviour. Sorry if I'm being inconvenient.

I'm a fan of fixed shooters and your game looks spectacular! Kinda S.I. Extreme on the Intellivision. Congratulations! If it's this good now, I can't wait for when you've finished it.
