This game is adorable - the axolotl and bug designs are so cute, I love the animations, the environments, the music, everything!! So impressive for a 3 day jam!! The models are all so polished. I also really appreciate the way the npcs pop up behind you when they get stuck :)
I do have to agree with the other folks who mentioned that the camera was disorienting!! I found it to be a bit too sensitive, but also like there was a sort of swaying weight to it? like there was some kind of momentum every time I moved it, as opposed to coming to a harder stop, which I would kind of expect from a lil 3rd person adventure game like this.
I think it would have been easier to get used to if not for getting kinda stuck behind/blocked by bits of the environment. If you do ever tweak the camera again I'd love to know - I'm gonna share around to some friends but a lot of my group is susceptible to motion sickness, and idk if they'd be able to make it through!! I don't mean to be over critical or belabor the point though, so I hope this is at least a little helpful lol.
I'm glad I played, if for nothing else but to be able to follow you to see what you do in the future, when you're not under the time constraints of a game jam!!

Dang, I love this concept but I'm pretty disappointed in the input lag! I even went into my PC settings/keyboard driver and couldn't fix it enough to make a difference. I'm a drummer who played with a click in many different settings for years, I feel pretty confident that I'm on time (especially on the really simple stuff that I'm missing). I know it's a free game and all, but it's bummer lol, I'd love to see an updated version!
