Yes, we found the problems. We will fix them soon. The problem is that:

This “save” only works when the game screen is open.

But when the game is closed (Electron window), the React App component is unmounted instantly, and setInterval does not have time to work.

And the window close handler does not trigger manual saving.

Thanks for the detailed feedback this is super helpful! You're absolutely right: the income-doubling upgrade currently scales way too fast, which causes the prestige loop to accelerate into endgame levels after only a few points. We'll rebalance this in the next update by reducing the multiplier effect, adjusting factory unlock pacing, and smoothing the mid-game curve so players can actually experience all factory tiers instead of skipping through them.

TITLE: Golden Factories  
DESCRIPTION: Rare golden versions of factories that cost 1000x more but produce 100x more income. 
They would have a special  gold visual effect and could only be bought once per factory type.  
WHY:  Would add a strategic choice - save up for golden factory  or buy multiple regular ones? 
Creates exciting goals for  late-game players.  EXAMPLE: Golden Cookie Factory - costs 1Qa, 
produces 100x normal income

BUG: Income multiplier not applying correctly  
DESCRIPTION:  My income multiplier shows x1000 but production seems to only be x100  
STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 
1. Reach Quantum Computer factory 
2. Buy 3 income upgrades 
3. Check actual income vs displayed multiplier  
VERSION: 1.1.0 PLATFORM: Windows 
SAVE: Existing save from v1.0.0

KNOWN ISSUES (v1.1.0)

We're already aware of these and working on fixes:

  • Numbers above 10^300 may display incorrectly FIXED in 1.1.1
  • Event timer occasionally shows negative time FIXED in 1.1.1
  • Old saves from v1.0.0 may have balance issues (start fresh recommended)
  • Performance drops with 35+ factories on low-end devices

WHAT'S NOT A BUG

  • Progression feeling slower after update (intentional rebalance)
  • Upgrade costs increasing faster than before (new scaling system)
  • Can't stack multiple events (disabled for balance)
  • Prestige/Ascension bonuses are lower (rebalanced)

PLEASE DON'T REPORT

  • Feature requests (use the suggestions thread)
  • Balance complaints (use the feedback thread)
  • "Game too hard/easy" (use the feedback thread)

RESPONSE TIME

We check reports daily and prioritize:

  1. Critical bugs (crashes, save corruption) - Fixed ASAP
  2. Major bugs (broken features) - Fixed within 48h
  3. Minor bugs (visual glitches) - Fixed in next patch
