This is beautifully written and thought-provoking. I love your writing style! To me, it feels like I am a character or idea on a page. I can become fleshed out, I can stay merely a vague idea, or I can start to "run away" and get too wordy - too many words, not enough meaning.

Very well done.

I love Rin and used her in my very first VN, Hello World! She's so cute! I also used your background pack for most of the backgrounds in this project. I love your art style! Thank you so much for sharing!

I really enjoyed this! Fiona's journey as she struggles with whether or not to question the church, and the ultimate outcome based on that, was intriguing. The story was well written, the characters thought out, and the fact that the choices lead to a different outcome than you might expect was a nice twist!

I also loved the "Patience is a virtue" loading screen way more than should be reasonable.

Great job!

Oh wow, this was really chilling. I love the touch of realism here - it's scary because it's real. The art is very well done. The stalker is very unnerving!

I played through a couple of times to experiment with the sanity and health bars. The second time I was relieved to get a "good" ending - and then realize it wasn't so good after all, which really brought home that emotional impact.

Very well done!

I really liked the story! I got invested in Annah's outcome, as well as Brooklyn's decision. The "play the alternate ending" option was a really nice touch! I also liked the "Advice" blog posts that were sprinkled throughout the story - they did a good job of building up Brooklyn as a character and seeing her blog thoughts.

The background images were good at conveying the story, and I also liked the text switch to "How (Not) to Live Through a Horror Movie" in one of the endings.

I think having some sort of background sound or music would have really elevated the experience - something, perhaps, to add a sense of dread or foreboding.

This is also my first time seeing a Renpy game playable in the browser, so that was an interesting touch! However, I did find clicking to be very unresponsive -  not sure if that's due to Renpy, issues with my connection, or what.

Overall, though - great job!

Okay, the title of this definitely caught my eye! I really liked how unserious the story was - yet it was still heartwarming. I enjoyed Jacob as the himbo, and loved the relationship between Phoebe and Blaire - they have distinct personalities that clash with each other while still being believable as good friends. The voice acting is well done. This is a really interesting take and I enjoyed it!

Oh gosh!! I figured nobody was really watching, so I didn’t record when I finished it this morning. 😭 So sorry you didn’t get to see!

I noticed you built it in Ren’Py - I just started learning the tool myself. Stay With Me is my second small project. I haven’t yet gotten comfortable with customizing the UI and found your UI and art style/animations particularly inspiring - something to learn for my next project!

I think a kinetic novel is a great option, and you kept it engaging with the menu options showing his thoughts before you click.

This is a GORGEOUS game. The art is unique, the transitions stunning, the writing very well done. ("Holy crap, this is really well-written" was a thought that came to mind multiple times!)

The UI is incredible and fits the theme well. I loved the notetaking feel!

I did expect the final choice to have some effect, but even though it didn't - it still fits well with the overall theme.

Genuinely, this is incredibly well done. Great job!

I really liked this! I love Arlo, and consent is important. :)

The main menu art in particular is beautiful and the music is fitting. There are also several different endings that fit well with your chosen actions.

Well done!

Thank you so much for the thoughtful feedback! I am glad you enjoyed the game. :)

There are actually 3 endings, with the relationship bar only affecting the “stay together” branch. You are right that scope creep/limited time affected this - I did want to implement a system that made it more clear, but in the end kept it simple to ensure I made the deadline. This is only my second VN and I’m learning a lot!

I can definitely see the art clash as well. My original set of backgrounds turned out to be AI-generated and I had to pivot. I do love the gloomy backgrounds, but agree they don’t really match the sprite art style. It’s something I will keep an eye out for next time. :)

I really appreciate your thoughts and will keep your feedback in mind for my next project!

I love it - thanks so much for sharing!

I adjusted the volume on the sounds, so hopefully that helps. Appreciate your feedback and your video!
