The game's dev seems to be unwell or at least unable to work on the game for the time being based on the comments below, past that I don't know the details beyond that work on the game has slowed for a couple of months.

Afraid you'll have to deal. RPG Maker is just made in a way that makes updates like these difficult, if you don't restart it leads to bugs and other issues cropping up, especially the longer you put it off.

Edit: I'm afraid disliking my comment won't change the fact that that's just how RPGMaker works, I have seen other developers make mention of this, plenty of RPGMaker game devs will suggest you to restart your file to get the full experience since they make balancing or mechanical changes to their games that might feel off if you don't. If you still feel you can handle it, just transfer your saves file into the new version, and it's done.

I play it on Steam Deck just fine

While I can't help with the demon frog as you would just need to level really,  the leash can be found at the clubhouse in the back room with the bed, there should be a golden chest in there in the smaller side room.

Because it can read the name of the user on the computer, it's a twist other games have pulled, like DDLC, or another game by the same creator, Kirumi.

In the house, as mentioned. Just find the map with the wolf girl in the water, head right, and the path to the house is linear from there.

One you have to cross the river with the gal who carries you across and talk to them to the north of the room she brings you to using the character you started as, the other is in the house with the dragon, by first talking to the girl in the birdcage on the second floor, getting eaten by the dragon on the first floor, in the stomach is what looks like a huge strawberry off to the left side, approach this and bring your mouse a bit further left into the wall to get an interaction, where you get the key to the cage. Then you either  get digested or escape, and bring the key back upstairs, interact with the girl in the cage again, then hit it twice to get her put. Those are the other two. If you can't get brought across the river to start, as I found the other route first, you can also get to the same area by sleeping in the bed in the same room where the birdcage was.

Chateau, or whatever the maid's name is, haven't played in a while, has gain on her belly if you feed her enough units

There already is to an extent, just no off switch really.
