Pretty early on in the game. The maze is accessed by inserting the ruby in the statue iirc. There are 2 traps in a room passed the exit. One is when you pick up your clothes (game over) and when you try to leave the room (game over). I genuinely have no idea how to progress passed this.

I've been running around the second part of the underground maze for probably an hour. Am I just stupid? How do I progress this part?  The only 2 things that are interactable in the exit are traps. I can't seem to find anything within the maze either. 

I don't see anyone else asking about this puzzle so I'm just assuming I'm blind
