Ty!!

👍

so, question, do nonbinary x woman relationships count as yuri for the purposes of this jam? (The game would also have other prominent, more traditional lesbian relationships)

Thank you! I originally made the movement work a more normal way, but I realized there wasn't really any reason to limit that. Also, I played your submission last night, really enjoyed it!
In retrospect, you probably saw my comment, but still :)

This is definitely one of the best i've played so far, and it's genuinely impressive that you made so much within the time limit

Thank (again)! I've been messing around in godot for a few months, though I've only finished two small projects. Aside from that, I have some experience in Renpy (which is for making visual novels, and doesn't really involve much coding), which probably helped me manage the scope of the dialogue.

Ty! Yeah the dialogue is for sure the strongest point. I feel like if I'd had like another day or so I could have made the rest more polished, but I think that's always going to be the case.

Thank you :)! I don't have a lot of experience with game dev, and i'm esp. not very good with the coding side of things, so this ended up being all I had time for. I originally planned for the game to take place over several days, but I ended up simplifying it to one day.

yeahhh, i found out literally 20 minutes too late that the hint button wasn't working, sorry. The hint was gonna be that it doesn't necessarily need to be the same book. Glad it was a good vibe, though!

I love meat so much dude, 10/10 game

Note: so apparently one of the sprite files is bad in some way and isn't displaying right. I'll fix it after the jam's over ig?

This rocks, highkey

Great artwork, very charming game overall! I think it might have been nice to have different speeds, but I get why you might not have had time to add that. Also, this is a really creative interpretation of the prompt, i never would have thought of that :)

For sure solid for your first completed game, I think! Idk, I've only made like 4 myself, but definitely not a bad concept, and decent execution given the timeframe I'd say.  Also the music slaps(positive).

Thank you!!! Writing is pretty much the only aspect of game dev i had any experience in beforehand, so I'm glad the characters were enjoyable <3

LMAO sorry sorry! if you're on the maze then the static gets less intense when you're closer. Soon we might even add a payoff to all the struggle :)
