This game was a real revelation for me. I don't like a lot of the elements you're cooking with in their original settings, but the way you've put them together with an eye toward a specific gameplay loop is fantastic. This cuts right to the core rogue-like gameplay that TTRPGs promise but never quite deliver. I've often said I really want an RPG that reaches up into collaborative storytelling from the board game space, instead of picking up some gameplay along the way. This is not at all how I would have gone about answering that prompt on my own, but it's absolutely triangulating for the space I'd aim for all the same.
