I don't like how this first level played out. The puzzles are pretty unclear, and the hint system over-corrects to just be a walkthrough. I think you can tell players WHAT they need to do (i.e. you must look like a bimbo to get past the bimbo witch) more obviously in the game, and then keep the HOW in the hints.
