After that choice, you get a passage related to your Roxie's vice - so, if it's empty, most likely your vice variable is empty for some reason. Did you start a new playthrough, or did you continue from your old save file?

Here's an update post I did semi-recently explaining what's going on with this game, and then another post from last week announcing my new IF. I wouldn't really say EfC is abandoned, but I won't be coming back to it right now. You'll be the first to know in case that changes (you're not the only ones who miss it!). Ty for the understanding
