Thanks a lot, I didn't plan on updating this game much since the compile times were very long due to the ammount of scripts and unsorted resources this game has, but since I got a new, more powerful one I can work more comfortably. Of course I also update the game for the people who bought it and support me and I will continue for years ahead as long as there is interest in this project.

Hello there, currently I'm busy with other project so update 4 should come out in about a month or two.

You can join the server now

Hey, I saw what happened, we will unban your account but make sure you secure it better now. Also what was your username? I can't seem to find you.

Yes, try shooting them at night where they have more limited field of view and they will still hear you.

There is suppressed pistol which can be used for stealth.

Hi

Yes, this feature is actually in the code but it's being overwritten by crawling animation. I can bring it back with some changes to the code, it will be in the upcoming update 4.

It doesn't really matter, you should be able to download Update 3 from your itch account. For this login, go to "My libary" and from there choose "Final Response", click "Download" and you should get access to all updates.

possibly in future

?

Awesome parkour mechanics, really enjoyed the physics and momentum based movement here

It is indeed, VIS (Kamil) did a great job on it.

At some point yes, in couple of months.
Currently this project is on hold while I'm working on LS: Nightmares.

AI changes, regenerative health and couple minor adjustments

spawn menu appears in sandbox mode and you simply drag and drop objects from it (hold mouse button over icon and drag where you want it to be placed)

Thanks a lot, this game is being developed using Godot 3.5 and running on GLES 2.0, as I aim for early 2000s look, somewhere around PS2 era

Thanks a lot, I'm glad you liked the demo ;)

Thanks a lot, I plan some more enemy types and expanding the miniboss concept with additional mechanics. I plan to add some randomized events after defeating monsters such as spawning anomalies and stuff like that to make it feel more dynamic.

The game contains lots of violence, so it is in 18+ category

spawn menu and gameplay improvements

No, you get access to all updates by paying price of the game once

The update is out

By the way, new update is out, I have rebalanced the anomaly ;)

Hey there, the electric ball, also called spherical lighting is randomly floating around the underground tunnels.

Best strategy is to pick up a key from room on the left side near underground entrance, then go down the main corridor and turn right after you pass 3 locked doors, use the key to open doors to storage room and take pistol, smg and pistol ammo from the ground.

Now instead of trying to get around the anomaly, try to defeat monsters with weapons you just got. After you are done you need to carefully observe where the anomaly is flying, it's movements are random so it's best to advance when it gets far away and you stop hearing the buzzing sound. You need to run around a long horizontal wall at the end of main corridor and find a second tunnel which will lead you to dead end with locked doors and key to pick up. You will need to use that key to open doors downstairs on the opposite site, also when you find the key you need to run away as fast as you can and if the anomaly gets close - try to lose it with circular movement around the tunnels, you will eventually find a way downstaris which will require the last key you picked up previously. I hope that helps, let me know if you keep having problems with that section and I will find a way to blance it a bit better

Thank you, I appreciate it a lot

That's fine, maybe just wait for Steam release

Thanks, I'm glad those gameplay mechanics worked as intended. In future I plan to expand sound design aspect to make the experience even better

Thanks a lot! I really appreciate it ;)

yes, it will be fixed in upcoming update

The update IS planned, maybe even this month

Steam release is planned, but it costs 100$ to release game there.

That's great to hear! Try out the Godot version too and tell me what you think

thanks a lot, I'm glad the horror works well and I still have some new ideas for future updates. Audio is certainly going to be a big part of that, after all I found horror of unknown to be very effective

This game should be around 5GB or less

I've been making a lot of changes and updating the game to newer version of the engine to handle more improvements regarding visuals and performance, there are lots of things I need to redo so it will take some time.

Currently I'm taking a break from this project,  meanwhile I want to finish a much simpler project I started long ago. It's also a Leaden Sky title, a prolouge to events from the main game, this will be a better way of explaining a lot of things and reducing unnecessary exposition in notes and cutscenes, this way later I'll be able to focus on more streamlined and polished storyline.

You can check it here, first chapter is going to be released this month, there will be total of 3 chapters (about 18 levels total):

Leaden Sky: Nightmares by Helghast_95 (itch.io)

It has similar gore effects to the latest 2022 demo, which was fairly basic.

In general this project doesn't focus on gore effects anyways.

Oh yeah, took me a while to draw them, honestly I was considering 3D cutscenes too, but I was concerned it could turn out quite generic and souless, so yeah, I'm gonna stick to hand drawn ones and I'm glad to see you enjoyed them.

Pretty cool! Would you like to do some commentary gameplay some day? During the video

"Ready when done" will always be my answer. More time spend on project only means that it gets better than previously planned.

And oh boy, this one is huge, recently it got much bigger than I planned, actually it's gonna be my dream game.

Additionally keep in mind, I'm planning to finish Leaden Sky: Nightmares soon so I'll be taking a break at least for a month, but I'll be back to working on main game as soon as I'm done.

Yo, check out new version
