Thanks, I actually figured out the multiple shields strategy (and its weaknesses) before I figured out the nuances of picking armors for stats. (I did not RTFM) Definitely a fun game and great to play while I'm donating plasma. 

My record is somewhere around floor 1200 iirc, I lost that run when I accidentally set my own health below zero via armor penalties lol. But I was reliably wiping out the whole field in less than half a turn every level at that point so that run had gotten stale anyway. I was mostly trying to see if there was another Easter egg boss at 1337 like a certain wizard I had managed handily much earlier in the post-game.

Love the game, it's so fun how the stats system makes for such a variety of super powerful builds if you get lucky with drop combos. The zombies are either bugged or game breakingly OP though. It doesn't matter how much damage you do to them, they can always respawn each other. (I am doing a triple shield cheese run here and do 100+ DMG per attack due to stacked absorb bonuses but still can't beat them because I can only attack twice per round)
