A good introduction to a simple yet classic formula that many TTRPGS use, with a few twists. If someone is dipping their toes in the vast ocean of alternative TTRPGS yet want something still familiar, this is a ideal start.
I've been involved in the development of the system- playtesting, making suggestions and such- and I am happy that I started here on my little homebrew journey. Personally, I prefer systems even more out there nowadays... so I see room for more creative mechanic's where others might be content.
Give it a read! see what you can implement, what you like, what you hate.

As someone who was apart of playtesting, I can say this system has gone through a lot of evolution and I have enjoyed the growth every step of the way.
This ruleset is very effective in what it wants to do: get your ass in gear. Its very distinctive in the attitude and approach of getting players to act. While it is a system focused on creative, non-crunchy, and fast paced combat, there is plenty of mechanic's that encourage roleplay. As someone who isn't too keen on number crunching, this has been a delight for me.
The unique mechanic's might take a moment to warp your head around, but the beauty of trying rulesets is to see what works for you! overall, lots of fun and potential here.
