Honestly, I completely agree with this. I appreciate that they’re trying to incorporate their own art, but it just isn’t it right now. The new art really just lacks personality, it looks very bland and generally comes off as goofy. The characters look overly cartoony and not in a good way  especially considering that most of the game has a semi-realistic anime style. Unless they plan to overhaul the art across the entire game, it just doesn’t fit aesthetically as things stand. I honestly hope they don't though cause it really is not great the art they already have I feel like needs massive rework.

I guess I should clarify I'm mostly referring to the Lion, Fox, and Wolf right now. I didn't really get a good look at the cow or shark. Also I wouldn't mind if they do a revamp for all the art it's just I would prefer more content then art updates right now.

Alright is it just me or is the Duna game literally impossible I made a macro that presses the Z key like 50 times a second and it still couldn't do anything.

Edit: I figured it out reading comments below literally just hold up and down arrow keys. The Keys for the minigame(s) are not bound correctly.

TL:DR - Great story telling and characters, no needless grind, and consistently enjoyable through full playthrough.

I just got done trying Experiment 34 yesterday and decided to give this a try as well honestly some brilliant story telling. I would way rather have mid art then have gameplay and story telling sacrificed cause if I just wanted good GTS art I wouldn't be playing a game for that. (spoilers past this point)

I really enjoyed how the character dynamics are done in the game nothing felt unjustified you can really feel the harsh truths come through you either ruin Azela's dream or everyone else's life. Rey trying to find a way to avoid that with his good guy personality ends up probably hurting more people then if he had just made the choice from the start to stop Azela. Overall the obsession Azela has with Rey just made for some really interesting story beats.

Gameplay was great as well RPG mechanics were not excessive and you don't need to grind. I never used items personally but I can see why they might be needed for the final fight of Chapter 1. I appreciate that exploring is rewarded as well but it's not strictly mandatory you can find references, gold, and additional dialogue which makes the world feel thought out.

I also love the creative flair shown in the game some great references such as Yume Nikki, One Piece, Konami Code into fatality, etc. overall some great stuff and doesn't feel overly intrusive. The characters also have some great portraits/emotions I don't know what else to call it but the "bruh" faces are very well timed and not needlessly used. I appreciate the two 4th wall breaks in the game and the general small comedy in the game again all while not feeling to intrusive to the main plot and helps with the display of characters personalities. Appreciate the 1gold Lol chest.

Overall great first Chapter my only real gripe is beginning of Ant Nest feels a little slow it doesn't help that Ant Nest map has to load every time and is easy to get lost in since the ant hole is so small compared to the rest of the map. Only encountered one "bug " it's not really more just a case of bad luck one of the guards fighting "nature" ended up roaming on one of the dead trees ladders which made it so I had to just way for him to reach the top to progress.

I'm not into cruel giantess stuff either but this still got me to play all the way through which I think is a good testament to  the quality of the game. Guessing we probably won't get a Chapter 2 for a long time but can't wait for a return regardless especially with the cliffhanger post-credit scene.

This was a real pleasant surprise went into this with like zero expectations (just kind of how it is with RPGMaker and Koikatsu base games) but it had an amazing prologue. I can tell there has been a good amount of detail being put into crafting the game just from UI, Sound, and 3D models to Pixel sprites. It's nice to see a really good RPGMaker GTS game since a lot of the time they tend to be stinkers. One thing I am curious about though is if you're going to make it Linear or Route based? Regardless great work! I'll keep my eye on the project hoping for the best.

Exceptional quality of a mod I am excited for more chapters to come out. I will say it's a lot more hands on then I would say the base game version of growth academy, meaning there is a lot more choices that lead to different dialogue but I am not opposed to it at all makes the character(s) feel way more alive. Great addition to GA if the art styles matched up a bit more wouldn't even feel like a mod. Erina is also a great addition I'm interested to see what her motivations and factor is but I also hate her at the same time but in the effective storytelling way (i.e. she pissed me off). Also it is worth having this mod even if you don't play it initially as it lets you go past the 9 save pages and personally I like the font better in this mod as well. Overall would recommend really easy to download and does not affect the base game in any negative way.
