Ok, I found it on the discord: apparently, there are living room events that you have to do first.

I don't know for Renpy in particular but Pycharm is really nice for working with python in general  (if you are talking about an editor)

I'm stuck at the 'the Call' quest where you have to get all the girls in a room in your exile house. I can't find Sheila anywhere. I gave all the other girls their rooms via the handling room. I read online that you should be able to find Sheila on the main street after that, but I don't see her anywhere. I've looked at every time of day at each sublocation of the main street.

Does somebody know how this is supposed to work? Do you have to do some other action before or something?

It's great you are so on top of the bug fixes!

When I try to run the 32 bits version the game immediately crashes with the following error:

While running game code:

  File "game/Resources/live2d_animations.rpy", line 35, in <module>

Exception: Could not load Live2D. Live2DCubismCore.dll was not found.

I see that in lib/py2-windows-x86_64 I do have that file but in lib/py2-windows-i686 I don't.

I play with Knightly_passions.exe, so that's 64 I believe. The problems occur when I'm loading from a 0.35 save btw. I saw a comment from you that that gives issues atm, so it's probably because of that.

Weird things are happening for me in the 0.36 update: if I try to sleep at the inn it loads the map: both if I do it via the innkeeper and in my own room. Also, when I try to start a battle in the forest it just shows an empty screen. Maybe other things are wrong too, this is what I tested so far: See this vid for an example (the fact that the music sounds weird is because of the recording software)

This is a video of the slow animation: link. As soon as you or the enemy gets attacked the knockback animation is really slow. Other things like playing defense cards are not slow. When you fight multiple enemies this problem is not occurring, but as soon as there is only 1 enemy left the problem starts.

Also for quest number 27 I need to get a bear bone. However bears don't seem to drop anything: I've fought over 20 battles with a bear and I've gotten no loot from them yet. The carnivorous plant sap I needed for this quest I got on the first try.

I have the issue that when I fight battles against a single enemy some of the animations are really slow. When you hit an enemy or you get hit the character moves back and forth a little bit. That animation is extremely slow. Fighting against multiple enemies it doesn't occur, but as soon as there is only 1 left, it is slow. This makes the combat annoying, which is sad because there has been a pretty nice overhaul.

A little review from me: I like this game and I've played through a large part of the story. The setting is nice it's an interesting town where lots of stuff is happening. The girls are well thought out with their own personalities and quirks. This makes the lewd scenes more enjoyable as well. The skill system and progression is a bit grindy but works fine for a game like this (especially with the passive skill increase option each night). The only criticism I have, and it is actually a major one because it is preventing me from getting back in the game, is that the conversations are too lengthy. Stawer put a lot of effort in the storyline and it is a pretty nice one, but I often end up skipping through large parts of the conversations because they just take too long. I feel there is a lot of filler talk back and forth that could be cut out. With a bit of tinkering the same story could be told with 1/4 of the text, without losing out on getting to know the girls' personalities.

All in all I've had a really nice time playing the game in the past. But I don't think I'll be playing a lot more until the issues are addressed.

  • I’m okay with hard minigames in general, as long as there’s an ability to skip the hard parts.

If the android version is such a big bottleneck and a lot of hassle to work on, you could drop the support for Android? Reading the first half of your post, I thought that was what you were going to announce :)

But I don't know how many of the player base plays this game on Android, that's a pretty important aspect of this of course.

This game is really great, by far the best VN I've played (only once in a lifetime coming close). Besides the lewd scenes, which are really good as well, the game is very well written. The characters have engaging personalities, the writing is often quite funny and it makes you quickly get involved with the storyline.

All in all 10/10 game!

Ah thanks, I think that works. I quickly scanned through the scenes with Lilly and Celine in the first episode of season 2 and they didn't mention Lilly being my sister. The codex still says Lilly is Eva's and the main character's sister though, even after restarting and reloading the game. It doesn't bother me, as long as the story is changed, but it might be a bug.

This is a really great game, thanks for making it! I have a question: is there a way, with commands or something, to change the game to non-incest after already starting? If I change it now in the settings, it only works for replays and for fresh games.
