  Hello. This is my first game jam. And that's why I find it interesting to watch and rate games regardless of their promotional materials and rating. I rated 110 games and decided to stop there.

  Behind the inconspicuous icons, I found truly wonderful games. It's a shame that people bypass good games because they don't have promotional materials.

That's why I decided to make a list of games that almost no one noticed, but they are really good:

Snowman Rise.

  Description on the project page: "A simple game for the 1 Bit Jam 5, make the Snowman grow so he can save his wife, from the evil guy."

  Personal opinion: The game has nice music and sounds. The graphics are also excellent. In the game, you will need to collect pieces of a snowman to become taller and complete a level. But it's not that simple. Evil snowflakes and dual pumpkins will create snowflakes that will reduce your height. And since both the snow generator and the evil snowflakes with pumpkins are constantly moving, you will have to constantly move and dodge to pass many different levels. And finally fight the boss.

SNOWBOUND.

  Description on the project page: "A simple puzzle game about an incomplete snowman.

The game itself is also incomplete, maybe I'll continue.

And making it very clear that my English is very basic.

I don't recommend pressing "M" during pause."

  Personal opinion: I can safely call this project one of the most loved for me in this jam. Excellent graphics. And the music is the best I have heard. There is a sound from EVERY action here. Even from the grass when you roll nearby. This is a very high-quality project. The only big blow for me was that it seems that level 5 is not passable due to a bug.

  Personal opinion: This is a really creepy game. Not because of the graphics, but because of the sounds. The sounds of eating are creepy and unpleasant (in a good way). I screamer really scares with its sound. (Eating lasts quite a long time. So do not turn off the game when the screen becomes black.) (By the way, pay attention to the name of the game while playing.)

Whiteout.

  Personal opinion: The game has a beautiful visual style and cute animals. And the music is melodic and exciting, as if played by an orchestra. And it perfectly emphasizes the atmosphere of the game.

Snakes in hibernation - an interactive poem.

  Description on the project page: "CW: mentions of grief, depression, loneliness, & anxiety. 

An interactive poem about snakes, grief, & moving forward."

  Personal opinion: This is a very cute game. Interesting visual style and beautiful music. This is not the main thing in this game. The main thing is the story. It is not big, but touching and inspiring.

It's not clear how to play. I still couldn't do anything.

The graphics are cool, but I didn't see any gameplay. I jumped over an obstacle once and walked around the same locations.

Very cool animals and the world in general. The impression was spoiled only by bugs:

Good music. Beautiful and interesting visual style. Very cool game.

The game has cool sounds and music. But the gameplay needs some improvement. At least add points as you survive. That would make the gameplay more interesting.

Cool game. Adding endless mode would be a good solution.

The idea of the game is very interesting. Of course, it wouldn't hurt to improve the character's control. But the game is still cool and interesting.

The complexity of the puzzles and the unusual visual style make your game quite interesting. But the game is seriously lacking music.

Without music and sounds it's monotonous to play. But in principle it's ok.

Nice little game. Maybe the text could appear faster. Otherwise, everything is great.

The game looks and sounds good. I can't survive for long though. The wolf eats me every time, the bushes don't help.

Nice music and interesting mechanics with invisible platforms make your game interesting. Just increase the jumping space a little and reduce the snowfall and you will get a very cool game.

A really scary game. I liked it. The trick with the name in the title is very cool. However, I couldn't pass level 3. I just can't run away and lose in the same place.

Good implementation of interesting mechanics + Beautiful music and sounds = Good and interesting game.

Didn't expect to see "Mario.exe". It was interesting to play.

  Very cool game. Graphics and music are great. It's a pity that almost no one knows about this game. You should have added some photos of the game. It would have attracted people.
   I also found that sometimes when passing a level, the snowman begins to fall under the ground, which leads to defeat and a repeat of the level.

The game has a very interesting idea. All that's left is to fix the surface illumination, add music and it will be super.

Cool music and sound design. Lacks complexity. But overall the game is good.

Very pleasant experience and time spent.

1) My ears find the wave sounds quite unpleasant. Many other games here also have similar sounds in their music. And they bother me too. So this is my personal problem.

2) On the third level. Part of the floor near the wall opposite the exit.

The author either didn't have enough time or effort. In principle, this could be a normal game if you spend more time on it.

Cool idea and implementation. True, there are some shortcomings: 1) The options button does nothing. 2) The direction of the push was not always read correctly. 3) After the victory, the music started playing again and it began to overlap.

The game is very buggy: 1) You can literally go beyond the map by simply going down. 2) You can get stuck in a nut if you go into it from above. 3) The camera often bugs and shows a place where there is no bear just during the game.

The mechanics of falling through are quite interesting. If you work on this concept more, it could be a very interesting game.

The game is very cool. The impression was spoiled only by bugs: 1) Apart from new run, other buttons in the menu did not work. 2) At random moments I was given the end of the game. 3) After pressing "restart" after the end of the game, the music disappeared.

I didn't see any gameplay here. I didn't come across a single tree in five minutes of wandering. And when my health dropped to zero, nothing happened either.

Without training it is difficult to understand what to do. For some reason level 9 was completed instantly, and I completed level 10 with just one step.
