I'll give it a shot! Android is uncharted territory for me, but in theory I should be able to export an apk version to put here on itch. I'll do some testing and see how it goes! If I manage it, I'll upload an apk file when I make an update to the game soon. :)

Hi there! Thanks very much for the detailed feedback; I appreciate it and it's super-helpful. On the bug you found, I think I know what's causing it, and while I'll have to wait until the jam is over to update the files, I will definitely fix that in a future version once I've done a bit more digging into the code to figure out exactly what's going on. I agree with your suggestions for how the game could be improved. Some of the things you mentioned are issues that I would have definitely handled differently if I hadn't had to scale things down to get the game finished on time. I would prefer for there to be multiple different jumpscares, other types of scary elements, more interesting RNG, various random events, etc. I also want to tweak the pacing in various ways. My plan, as of now, is to begin work on an expanded version of the game that builds a fuller experience around what could currently be considered a demo or proof-of-concept. That will allow me to expand upon what works in this version and refactor what doesn't.
Thanks again!
Nice graphics and great use of lighting. One issue I had is that the tutorial text at the bottom of the screen hides the character when he goes down into that area, so that makes it difficult to see what's going on and avoid the animatronic. I really like the atmosphere and the flashlight system, though.
Thanks! Yeah, I agree that the gameplay could use more variety. That’s something I didn’t really have the time to develop as much I would have normally preferred (this is the first jam I’ve ever completed, so I learned a lot about time management along the way). I primarily focused on getting a vertical slice of gameplay completed before submissions closed. I have ideas for how I could make things more engaging in future versions.
Hi there, sorry to hear you’re having issues with the download. I’ve tried to replicate the problem by downloading the game on Windows with Chrome, Edge, and the itchio app, but no problems have come up for me. I also scanned the game folder with Windows Defender to see if it would give me a false positive on the files, but it came up clean. I’m thinking that’s it’s probably some kind of anti-virus and/or browser setting on your computer that is inaccurately flagging the game. It’s possible that there’s a button you can click somewhere to dismiss the warning and still download it. In any case, the file is perfectly safe.
