The WebGL version gives an 'Unable to parse .br' error in the itch.io app. To fix this, you need to enable 'Decompression Fallback' in your Unity WebGL Publishing Settings or change the compression format to 'Gzip' or 'Disabled...hopefully a downloadable windows version will be available in the Itch.io app...

From what I played, I enjoy this game, but what's keeping me from going far is the text scroll after most actions is very stubbornly slow. I have a good gaming laptop, though it uses AMD GPU, so the CUDA workaround won't work, but I play other LLM games just fine, like AI Roguelite...While I appreciate the skip feature, it has me missing out on some details...Hoping for a fix or a less intensive LLM model or even the ability to put API of other LLM's...
I'm on the Itch.io app/launcher and when I try to launch the game it says it is running, but the game is nowhere to be found, I tried checking task manager, but there is no instance of the game running...it has been an hour and as I am typing this, it still says "Running..." but there is nothing...
Edit: I made it work by going into the game's file in AppData/Roaming/itch/apps/doodle-empires...it may be a problem with the launcher, idk...
I'm glad you guys are going to steam but I have few questions.
1. Will there be workshop functionality(to share and play user maps, scenarios, mod's etc...)?
2. How much will the steam version cost?
3. Maybe it's a bit early to ask but, what will be the main differences be between both versions?
Anyways, I am glad to see this game further develop!
