I think that is a false positive warning that has been there over many versions.

A great update! Especially the z88dk map file support and zxos.bat with an auto-download. Good work 👍

ZNC Compiler community · Created a new topic Very cool!

I really like the idea of having a high level language compiler in Next ,  so you can do all the coding on the device, just like old times :-) Also I have never liked Basic much for larger projects. Tested Spriteballs.znc and made little modifications. Everything worked well. At first I did everything in the command line, until I found Zide. It really helps a lot.  Good work!

I think it would be a fancy idea to have a game jam using ZNC compiler :-) That would really help iron out the bugs and improvements in the system.

Few small suggestions to the documentation:

- If compiling the examples, like spriteballs, by hand , it could be mentioned that  the final dot file can be started by :

.run spriteballs.dot

 (or via the browser)

- Even if starting a basic program should be a common knowledge, it could be mentioned that zide.bas (and zndemo.bas) should be started and run by:

load "zide.bas"
run

(or via the browser)

A nice set btw :-D

What is the tile size in pixels, and the size of the car sprites?

Just noticed that you cannot send pictures directly here. It has to be hosted somewhere else.
Here is a screenshot of my nameless wild west game:

As we are now over the halfway of the jam, it would be nice to see where you are. Please send a screenshot of your game. It does not matter if you are still in very early phase. On the contrary, it can be encouraging for other attendee to see that not everyone have progressed a lot.

Hi, I just started my devlog here: https://talk.pokitto.com/t/devlog-micojs-gamejam-entry-no-name-yet/3103

Thanks!

Updated the game (v0.4).

Now you can try both levels, night and day!

In the daytime, you must collect coffee beans. Press left or right to collect bean sacks.

At night, you must protect the coffee supplies from being  robbed by the coffee-addicted zombies. Use "Energy Bars" to keep zombies away from the tower as long as you can!

Hi,

this is my entry to the jam! The game is still work-in-progress. I have included sources also so you can look at them if you struggle with Java ;-)

The climate change has destroyed all the coffee plants from the planet. You are sitting on the last big coffee stock in the world. People are going crazy as they cannot keep awake without the daily coffee dose. They can smell your coffee tower miles away…

Use "Energy Bars" to keep zombies away from the tower as long as you can!

Can I submit a  WIP entry and update it by the time? Or only when the game is ready?

I am currently making a new room called "Giant feet fleet".
