Can't believe how many people are going through the entrance I forgot to block off haha. That's the first thing I'll fix with an update.
Will re-work the tutorial also.
Thanks for the feedback!
Like I wasn't consistently grounded (kept jittering up and down and wasn't able to jump). Only after failing three times though. I might have failed while on a moving platform or falling? Not sure.
The platform that moves horizontal had me sliding off it whenever I was on it. I was on it, looked away for a second, and was on the floor.
Ahh... I really like the idea of only seeing what echoes off walls. Really good idea! The simple controls also make it easy to understand & play. The 9-10 seconds of silence after you run out of echoes is super tense which I love. I got stuck at a point where I spawned with 0 echoes, but I had fun with what I played.
One suggestion, unrelated to the game tho, is to go for a Web build over a Windows build. Take a lot more effort to play the game when you have to download & extract vs. just clicking "Play".
Great job anyways!
Love the idea of the Moon protecting the Earth. Was really surprised by how smooth everything was (zooming in and out on the Earth & moons), and even the small details like the shadows when you place things down. I wasn't too great at the game so I didn't get too far, but I really enjoyed what I played of it. Good job.
Like Sprightly Pear, I really like that there's multiple gameplay styles. The sprites and the general vibes are really nice. I love the idea of stealing a part of the moon.
I had to restart the final section three times tho. The first time was my fault, but the second time had me slide off the moving platforms and fall off one too many times while jumping which was slightly frustrating. The third time the physics were all messed up, so I had to restart the game, but I got to the end and liked it!
Good job!
Drilling and collecting those stones tickles the lizard part of my brain, really satisfying! I really like the progression from starting with zero and ending up collecting so many of these rocks with the drills. Not sure what the Material Extractor does, and I wasn't sure what to do around that point, but still had fun!
Also like the art style and general vibe. Good job!
I think I played this one on day one or two of the jam and it's nice to see it develop!
Really strong presentation (both looks & sound), really nice simple gameplay of outpacing the drill. I like that you gain lives after 50 gems, though tbh I'm not sure the game would be worse without lives.
I sucked at the game, but through memorisation and repetition I felt myself improving, like a simpler version of Meatboy. It was nice seeing myself improve in real-time.
The jump's a liiiiittle too tight for me, but that might just be me. Also, I haven't fully tested it out, but I think walking down-slope and jumping might not work all the time.
Good job! A game I could see myself coming back to.
I love the idea! A nice silly concept. Thought it was going to just be a golfing game but had my two "oh" moments when I realised I could upgrade my skills & shoot the ball! Really cool idea of swinging & shooting.
It did feel like the swinging wasn't too necessary since it didn't get you too far, and it was a bit hard to know when I could and couldn't shoot the ball (a change in reticle colour or sth would be nice), but otherwise I really enjoyed it! I got to see the moon, but like another user here, once you see the moon, the direction compass thing goes away.
Great job, would play again.
A fun & short experience! I really like that each level has its own hook and mechanic, and that each mechanic focuses on different aspects of movement. Also bonus points for having a start screen / main menu!
We were going to go with a similar idea haha (astronaut collecting things to fix ship).
Good job!
I love the idea! Really like the idea of trying to reduce the damage your werewolf form takes by setting up barriers. I like the simpistic art style + color palette. I could cheese my way through it sometimes, but I enjoyed trying to solve the puzzles the right way & would play a longer game with the same concept!
I got stuck a few times in the last level so I didn't fully finish it, but great job!
Took me a bit to get what was happening (idk why) but I really like the idea. Subtraction with darts + the general story and vibes are cool. Also happy you can skip to end of text instead of waiting for it to scroll.
One thing I'd change maybe is making it more clear why you lose and the number in the center going down. Otherwise, good job!
I really liked it! It took me a run to get oriented and get what I'm doing (didn't realise I had the pizzas from the start), but once I got going I really enjoyed driving around. It's a bit too easy to get stuck but the reset button makes that a lot less frustrating. I really like the two layers of road (ground + bridges). I really like the turbo + jump, but I don't feel like I need to use them, especially the jump.
Love the little details of the pizza boxes being on top of the car and the customers going into their houses when they receive their pizzas. Great job!
