Thanks very much for playing!

Thanks!

Cool sledging game. The music fits nicely. Although the wrapping effect at the top of the screen (where the upcoming track comes from), that effect gave me eye strain.

Maybe because I was playing in the browser, that’s why…

Nonetheless, awesome game. Well done!

A relaxing little free fall game. I didn’t know being a snowflake was this hard.

My only suggestion is to make the viewport larger, or even better provide zoom-in zoom-out controls so to see more of the sky.

Nice attempt! Make this game even better!

Nice little shooting game! The swarms feel overwhelming at times, and I would also say a small machine gun would be a great alternative. Gameplay was really fun though…

Nice work!

Feel free to play my game too.

Thanks for the comment! Yes, the shooters could have been more deterministic, it would have been better.

Anyway, thanks for playing the game. I appreciate it.

Thanks! Yeah that’s a black hole kind of thing…

I totally understand. My first jam submission didn’t have any music too.

Absolutely amazing. Wonderful. Definitely a 101/100 for sure!

Big Thanks! Awesome!

Your game is amazing too.

Nice, I really liked the dialogues.

Thanks for the wish! Happy 2025 to you too!

The storm reduces visibility/speed concept is good! Music is good too!

Good Work!

Our submission names are quite the match, too.

I am now a fan of the sound design and the gameplay. It really feels scary. The flashlight concept reminds me of Luigi’s Mansion.

Wonderful!

Amazing, levels are well-designed! Music and Art are just awesome! Controls were a bit loose, I mean the balls didn’t feel heavy. They should have provided some resistance.

Nice Game!

Absolutely love the Art. The story is really touching. This is a masterpiece entry to the jam, but why it is rated so less? Rate people!

Nice work!

Fun idea with winds! It was a bit challenging since the bit loose controls (atleast for me). Levels are nice, music is beautiful!

Well done!

Thanks for playing. Let’s see when I can make a full version 😜

Thanks for the comment. Yes I made the last level intentionally hard.

Definitely looks like one-day art. I didn’t expect the fast pace action, but it was awesome. Some energetic ambient music would make it even nicer.

Was that flying thing even killable?

Hey! You have got yourself a nice score and an amazing timing. Congrats and thanks for playing!

Thanks for trying it out… I will try out your game too!

There you go… https://itch.io/jam/1-bit-jam-5/rate/3310770

Will appreciate it if you play my game, I will check out yours too!

Nice! Shooting with snowballs.

Well-made, wish I could play this in full 32-bit colors. It feels great to skiing along the tracks. I beat the first level in 20 secs.

Awesome!

I totally understand the ending, I wish I could add more levels. The game was outstanding, I honestly enjoyed playing though the levels with somewhat average score of 70%ish. The zoom transition is a genius move. I enjoy making and playing physics based games.

Good Luck!

Glad you liked it! Yes, that’s why jams are fun, we tend to challenege ourselves.

Thanks!

Hey people, please post your final screen in the comments, let’s see who completed the game fastest with most snowflakes in the least amount of hits/deaths

Thanks! Controls are intentional, to mimic slippery conditions as on snow/ice. Plus it’s a nice challenge, as you did mention.

The game was challenging for sure. I enjoyed throwing snowballs at angry snowman and very angry snowman 😂.

All the best!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed.

The battles are sometimes too long or boring, plus you can’t get out of them. Didn’t finish the game, but enjoyed the much I played.

Nice!

I appreciate the minimalism art style, and the particle effects were awesome. Snowball shrinking and growing is a nice mechanic. Gameplay is smooth, though the ground was fairly flat compared to the length of the game, a bit more procedural terrain would do the job.

Scored 815 on the last try!

This was the exact concept I was aiming for my own game, but didn’t make it in time. Hiding things under color, in a 1-bit game, is such a nice concept.

Well done! (Though level 2 (one with spikes), I was stuck there, didn’t know what to do)

Pretty good game I would say. This reminded me of the MS Edge’s offline game, but in one bit.

My best score was 2778 after a some 3–4 tries, awesome!

Nice concept. Loved the first person view, feels exciting.

Great job!

Arcane Quest was made by me, a 2nd year Computer Science student.

Nice! I appreciate your quest to play quest named games 😂. Time was the only barrier for me in making this one, and it has quite a few bugs. I might work upon this one, let’s see what quest the future holds. The arrows were planned to be controlled via mouse (i.e. change direction while aiming in-place), but somehow it didn’t make to the final game. Enemies are dumb, I agree.

Thanks very much!
