Glad you liked the environment, I poured a lot of energy into it, but that caused the controls to be left untested by a long shot.

I couldn’t add all those combat goodies like damage indicators and such…

Thanks for trying it.

Thanks for the comment! Although the original idea was to be derived from frieren, but I think it didn’t reach there. I cannot promise any sequel 😂, but will try to make one. I will keep the points in mind.

Glad you enjoyed my work.

Thanks! Didn’t get time to polish the combat mechanics. I actually did a pretty fatal mistake to start making combat pretty late in the development. Ironically, the very first thing I drew on my copy while planning was the pretty cool beam fired at a golem. Yeah, I was about to miss the deadline… but managed it anyway.

(Though in my mind I had an epic battle against the evil dark mage and its awaked golem acolyte)

This is EXACTLY what I was aiming for, I even started with the golem, but couldn’t finish it.

I think I will start with project templates next time, so that I could get menus and audio controls beforehand.

Thanks again for such a wonderful comment!

It’s awesome that you played my game! Thanks for the praise. I planned to do combat first, but it got delayed and eventually didn’t get to test it properly.

pressing F while in air should have put you into flight mode… maybe it bugged out And for resetting, I added a button in the bottom right corner to reset a level.

Thanks a lot!

Nice tierlist, here’s mine, Prism Void https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-15/rate/4310949

will play yours later as well…

(please try the windows, intead of the web one)

Thank you for the compliments. I couldn’t test the controls with more focus, yes they are a bit hard. I did focus more on the looks and strangeness of the world.

The best game so far for the theme of strange places. You definitely nailed the environment and the “strangeness of the game”. The puzzle was quite unique, and I felt great after solving it. The ending was funny as well.

Well done!

The pixel art and sfx are very nice! The world ruled by this single eye monster is indeed some strange place.

Nice work!

Awesome concept, I love these kinds of games that bend the reality, 4d games or time wrapping mechanics to name a few. The sound effects are too hard on ears, I think?

Nice work!

Impressed by the depth of the story. The visuals and audio are nicely done given the length of the jam.

Great work!

Nice stuff. Liked the minigames. Hand drawn was a nice touch.

The one where you had to press Space after x seconds and the maths one were awesome. I couldn’t solve the maths minigame 😅…

Very interesting concept about magnetic floor and walls. If platformer essentials to this (coyote timer and all), this would feel even better.

Awesome!

Truly awesome. I am moved by the idea and simplicity of the game. Instead of using navigation keys, using full keyboard to guide the player is genius. I discovered the wormhole mechanic by accident.

Very well done! 5 stars on Innovation from me.

The level design is really awesome, as are the puzzles. platforming part was a fun one.

Maybe you forgot to check allow fullscreen somewhere, since the web build won’t go into full screen properly and mouse capture glitches out.

Liked the idea of mini puzzles and punishments, paired with the nice story. Some challenges might be a bit hard for few and may require prior knowledge. The music was quite fitting for the locations. The logo really fits the theme of the game.

Overall, a nice entry. Nice job!

This was superb, self composed music! The voice lines were funny to be there, I liked them. The racing part was super fun as well. I think you can call a racetrack up high in the sky as a strange place…

Awesome job!

Liked the “one passenger is an anomaly” concept, and the theme is perfectly nailed, it really is strange and scary. The game kind of short once you start to pickup up the anomalies, but still gameplay is solid.

Nice work!

It’s terrible somehow for other people’s computers. I think I should remove the web build altogether or try to fix it. I am extremely sorry for this quality, and request you to play the windows/linux build instead. (See the screenshots, ground texture is present)

Thanks for giving my game a try, but please consider the downloadable build again 🙏.

EDIT: Seems like this problem happens on Windows only.

Thanks again! I didn’t get any time to fine tune the controls.

If you are talking about the launchpads in the last level, you are supposed to press F while in air to fly. Then you can cross the floating blocks upwards. Checkout the hints on the game page.

Thank you, yeah it’s called hd 2d art style and I wanted to make a game in this style for some time.

The web build is indeed not worth playing if you can play the builds, godot’s compatibility renderer is limited.

Sorry for the bug, I guess the tree in the center is causing collision issues, I willl move it to the side. Waiting for you to give it another try 🙂

Thank you very much! Shout out to the awesome artists who composed the music.

Thanks!

Very sorry for the soft lock, can you tell which tree exactly? I suppose the one in the center of path leading upto the first village.

EDIT: I have added a button to restart the current level.

I will play your game later ☺️

Thanks! for giving it a try. And special thanks for giving it a second try!

It seems like I poured all my energy into effects, and with the limited time I had in the month, I waw unable to polish the rough edges and audio as well…

Thanks, yes, the game is incomplete in some sense…

A well polished turn based game, really enjoyed playing this one! It took me time to get that you can select multiple cards for combined effects.

Pretty fun and engaging!

Great work on this one! This matches the theme, actually I have played only two games so far that tweak on actual waves (one was to pass laser avoiding hazards through a point, similar structure, superposition of multiple waves)

I am really amazed by the astounding amount of detail you were able to put while maintaining this level of polish. The controls and graphics were great as well!

Well Done!

Thanks for giving it a try! I obviously thought too far given my availability this year, and missed the very basics.

I really appreciate your comment, thanks!

A solid game having a lot of potential! The background music was a nice touch! It really fits the game. The driving controls are smooth as well!

Enjoyed playing this “Wagon Defense” Game. It is nicely done!

Really thankyou for trying it out!

The tsunami is supposed to start from the first night, and even during the following days. Maybe it didn’t for you (?). I am really sorry I was not able to polish the game due to deadlines 😭.

You guys don’t need to be sorry, you have pieced together a pretty good game. This amount of working in-game games is shockingly awesome! I really hope you finish the game! I didn’t get to listen to any sound (maybe due to the bug…)

Well Done!

Liked the endless concept, when losing health, instead of dying, you repel enemies and change weapons, like getting stronger and stronger!

Glad you played till the end! I feel sorry for not making it till the end though…

Nice work!

I am so sorry, I was really unable to test anything before the deadline.

Actually, you have to build a shelter before the first night, and then keep up the repairs and survival for 3 days and nights.

The time is told by the green and purple progress around the circle.

Clearly the most enjoyable game so far. I loved the little voice acting you guys did, and the way they say things 😂. Sometimes zombies go behind the castle, where attacking is impossible…

The game sure is fun! Well done to the whole team!

Simple and nice idea, adjusting the path of the player!

It’s okay! What you did manage to implement is awesome.

Nice game! I wanted to see what did you use to make this, but what happened to the GitHub repository?
