Now that you say that, it does kinda sound like "owo" but in reality its meant to sound like "hello" from a child 😭 I guess I probably pitched it up too much.

Thanks for your feedback though! Made me laugh this morning for sure!

Nah amazing job! This was also my first jam, though I was doing it solo I ended up picking up a lot, but equally had a lot of problems and ran out of time due to irl events, so funny enough my level design was also done at 2am the morning of submission. Hope yall had fun!

Glad you liked it! I'm honestly still split about whether I would continue developing this in my own time or not(guess I'll just see how the video performs)

Its funny too, I was so proud of the darkness effect until about 2 hours after I submitted this game I saw a video showing how to add a vignette affect.. Layering those two in my opinion would've been so cool.

Thanks for your input! Good job on your game aswell!

Amazing game! Great idea! Funny how many of these there are this jam but you executed this wonderfully!

One thing I forgot to mention in my other reply: I sort of realized that reading the text mightve taken a while, so I was thinking about adding a perma-box for infinite light(and at one point I did have one) I eventually had to take it away because I realized I only had time for one level and at that point the only goal of the game was to beat your highscore at surviving. I guess I couldve made it pause your seconds instead of regenerate but then I think it wouldve taken away the need to stay on your feet. Thanks again for your input!

Yeah unfortunately a few real life events unexpectedly took place in these four days, I ended up staying up until 2am the night before submission to add finishing touches(the actual level being one of them)

Originally this game was meant to be a "spooky" suicide awareness game about somebody "losing their light overtime" and it was going to have these poetic fun voicelines  and hints so you wouldnt have to read, very similar to a game on steam called "Hue" which I enjoyed playing a few years ago, but that unfortunately didnt have time to get in.

Thanks for your feedback! You made a really cool game btw!

I love the oversaturated colors! Oddly enough it feels like it suits this game really well! And the fact that the game is so replay-able by adding more animals with different foods to sort is really smart to keep players in. Amazing job!

Awesome! I love the escape room feel with the timer all in your face! Some hints might've been misleading, but I got it in the end! Also if the color coordinated hints were explained right before spawning in that probably would help. But all in all great job!

Cool game concept! Though some visual indicators/hints towards where the items are would be nice. Also this may just be an issue on my end but when trying to turn with my mouse the camera was stuttering/falling behind in a very aggressive manner. Great job overall!

Love the entire idea of the game! Though I wish there was more text/explanation or a tutorial, once I played it one time I then mostly understood how to do everything. Overall, really great job!
