I really wish there was an ending where they both escaped and lived nice lives together

I genuinely love this art style, and the idea of the memories not being in a chronological order at first but snapping together and making sense when you can replay them in the end is also like so goood
the theme of being sort of stuck in one place watching the world and your close ones move on is also like soo relatable at times

Honestly i fell in love with this story, even though i went through it so many times everytime the end credits pop up i just, stare blankly at the screen, thinking about this, the constant circle of hesitation and search for comfort is so well written and the visuals and sound design complete it so perfectly, almost like this whole story is just a memory played in the head of the puppy as they moved on and (i hope) found a safe place
