Hmm, the purchase included a PDF manual, but was there something else?

Well, at any rate, the FOMO worked on me :p!  I'll leave an opinion once I've played it.

I'm curious WHY it's a one-day thing.

Pretty fun, but sound effects would help it out A LOT.  Imagine playing Peggle in silence.  Not too satisfying.

I am extremely impressed with this game, and I look forward to playing it a lot more. But the one problem I have is this: when you pause/bring up the navigation map, you have to push B if you want to exit the menu without moving. If you push start again, you'll go whichever direction is highlighted. Now, I understand how it works, but years and years and years of experience pushing start once to pause and again to unpause means that I just *constantly* accidentally move. Would it not be possible to have it so that when you pause/bring up the map, the cursor's in a neutral position, so if you actually want to move you have to CHOOSE the direction, and if you don't it just exists the map? That would instantly solve the problem.

Have done! Thanks. It's on sale now too, if anyone else wants to take the plunge.

Oh, it's there already! Okay! Question answered!

This looks really neat. I can't decide whether to buy it now or wait for it to be added to the PD catalogue.  It IS going to be added to the catalogue, isn't it?

I had no idea what to expect from this, but it turned out to be funny and sweet. It's only the second WS game I've beaten (after the Sa-Ga remake), but it's a good one.

Thanks. No need to wait; I'll probably just buy it here after 1.0 comes out. Your "my gamedev story" is really cool, btw.

This looks super-cool, but before I buy, is it coming to the PD catalogue? Feels like it should.

Cool idea. I'll definitely never be able to play it, but still--REALLY cool idea!

Needs more free-floating existential anxiety.

Well, when I said "videos," I guess I actually just meant "video."  But there is a longplay, at least:

Dang. Somehow I was hoping that this game would let you play as Vladimir or Estragon.

(But in all seriousness, good stuff)

Thank you for this. I played through your game, and it is indeed short and sweet. This may not exactly be the right time of the year for it, but I thought the Christmas theme was also well-executed.

This is a really fun game. Thanks. The last boss (well, maybe not last--still have to do the negative zone!) in particular was very cool and clever. Just one question: is there some kind of actual use for the collectibles, and I just haven't encountered it yet? In most games, they'd be for score, one-ups, or buying stuff, but none of that's relevant here.

Oh, thank you! I guess I'm a bit of a dope, but AT LEAST I'm a dope with a working rom now!

So I assumed this included the ROM, and that whole "For best results, download the ROM and play with a flashcart on real hardware or your favourite emulator" does EXTREMELY strongly suggest that.  But, it doesn't. So now I have a game I can't play because I don't use windows. If you refund my money, I will buy the ROM from your website.  Or, you know, DON'T refund it and just send me the ROM. Whatever works best for you.

There are some gameplay videos on youtube, but I agree, it just seems like common sense to include more information here, if you want to make sales.

Oh, thanks. I was probably a bit unobservant not to realize that.

This is a super-awesome concept. More games based on silent movies, please!

Playing the Lynx version here, and this is a really, really nice game. My only objection so far is that the waterspout that you use to elevate yourself in water form seems to function or not function very arbitrarily based on what the game wants you to do.  I feel like in a game like this, it's important to design levels so things like this aren't an issue.

But don't take that too hard, because as I said, I really like it.

See, you have such a weird, specific chip on your shoulder here that it's totally incomprehensible to normal people. Just so you know.

Teşekkürler!

I know has to connection to Bump 'n' Jump, but it's funny that the names are opposites.

Maybe I'm thick, but how does one sideload this?

Ah.  Yes.  I seem to have forgotten about one of the Playdate's main features.  Thanks.

Thanks, but I'm still stuck: having exactly the same problem as st-fisch, below.

Little help here?  All I can seem to do is stick a strap on a bucket with a scrap of vellum in it and throw it in a well for no reason.  Other than that, I'm completely stymied.
