I like the idea of two games being put into one, with you getting only one shot at both before starting over, but unfortunately the technical problems hold it back quite a lot, quirks like enemies surviving on zero health, or the case sensitivity and the requirement of moving around folders so that it actually loads. A nice attempt though, just needs some work.
