Game was fun - Music matches the aesthetics of the palm trees, sun, and road design. I enjoyed playing!
I know I have a 10 year old computer but I had a message whole time in top left "Video memory has been exhausted (636 MB over budget). Expect extremely poor performance." The game did seem like it could be moving faster, so it was probably slowed down for me is my guess from that. Still fun though!
Fun game! I liked the atmosphere, camera/tv screen effect and the locked or opening door sounds.
Like others mentioned and I'm sure you are aware, I also couldn't figure out right away to press E to get out of the first dialogue until I checked the controls on the game page but it sounds like from your comments to others you plan to add a hint in game soon, I agree that would be great.
Awesome solo first game! I think you got a lot done for your first game. Cool cut scene in the beginning, cat got me several times. Overall fun experience!
I tried to play with keyboard and mouse so I don't think you had a button mapped for trigger but I see from your feedback to others you are considering adding it in an update, all good!
Awesome work for a solo project! Fun game, controls made sense, music sound and mechanics were well done! Cool you had a backstory when many others I have played skipped story.
If I could change one thing, I would add a health item (I got through 3 levels, could have been a skill issue and me not reaching them if you have them haha)
Enjoyed the game, looks like you accomplished a lot solo! I liked the first person view and robots as well.
I played the web version and I try to go into games blind so figured out attack/parry right away. Felt like I killed all the robots but couldn't open the door at the top of the stairs? I probably missed something. If I could change one thing, I would have added some quick sound effects or background music.
Overall great job!
Enjoyed the game! I liked the face expressions changing, space skybox and level was cool aesthetic. Music and gun laser also fit with it.
I did fine with the controls but died quick (probably partially skill issue). If I could make one change - If the player dies, maybe don't respawn every enemy. But that is up to you on game balancing.
Great jam game for your very first! Great application of the theme, I felt like I could shoot unlimited bullets, and I liked the music and sound effects were on point.
If I were you and were to make further updates, I would make the incoming bullets a little easier to see and an easier way to shoot them - though part of it was probably a skill issue on my end!
Will look out for future updates - I tried to do the two instances as you suggested, clicked Host room on first, Join Room on second and tried clicking different names and Join/password but I had no way to enter password from the first (or I could have missed it).
Really enjoyed the menu music and the aesthetics though of what I could see! Best wishes with future updates!
Agree with all the comments - great core mechanic and awesome you were able to get three puzzles done in the time we had! You could easily expand this to more puzzles if you have that interest.
I saw on the game page you mentioned wanting to add enemies, that would be interesting.
I think you could make a minor tweak of adding a way to rotate the pieces the opposite direction and just some minor sound effect when you rotate a piece might be nice and add a lot for little effort.
