I dont know why but i cant download the newest version. On the older versions, I could download it straight in the game but now it just wont pop up like befor. Is something wrong or is it somehow my fault?

Hey guys. Im new to this game and saw much things are locked till you have purple hearts and i dont know how to get them. I have some red hearts but thats probily not it. Is it a special day when i can get them or a item? Pls help. 

I play on android and everything was good till now. Whenever i go to the abyss the game lags really bad and i cant really do much. It started at day 14 or 15. When i go back to the home everything works perfectly fine
