We would have loved to give the player more direction on that. As it stands, the items all *do* have a purpose. They are used to craft spells that can be purchased from the witch (using money that you get from either fighting enemies or selling crops & foraged items) & discovered by talking to NPCs. Thanks for the kind words and advice! Each of the plants are on different growth cycles. I believe the Moon Melon is 3  in game days, and the Mycelium Root & Sporeberry are both 2 in game days. Would have loved to have time to compose some music for the game and we may in the future!
