Ah, I think I may know why. I'm on Mac too so that's not the problem, the problem is that you're missing the sprites, music, and .bak file to store the data. I will include these as a download and update the install instructions.

Yeah, my idea to try to fit the theme of "This game is smaller than it seems" is to make it so that a bot would do everything for you after the first upgrade, you see all these features and get to work clicking, but then you realise that you can't do much. I realise now that I didn't get the point across super well that you can't do anything anymore

For a mod like the KadeDev ones, the only thing you could really do is buy a windows computer or download something like wine to open .exe files on Mac, that's never worked for me though because it's not updated so you'd have to somehow get your Mac to be on ver. 10.0.0 or something lol.

lol I know I'm late but since I've seen no-one talking about this, you CAN mod Friday Night Funkin' for Mac, but any mod like the ones that KadeDev made don't work. You can replace the assets with the same name as the original file, but for anything like the Whitty mod (cutscenes, different skin in the same week, etc), it won't work 'cos you'd literally have to code that stuff in lol

This is a very cool concept and greatly executed! The little percentage bar thingy is a nice way to stop people from just drilling straight down and adding to the experience at the same time. Great game!
