It's very well written. In my opinion, inserts with political intrigues add completeness to the plot, do not reduce it to a banal first-person narrative. However, as previously written, it is desirable to separate them from the main plot by color/font.

I'm not a big fan of horror and all this reminds me of a mixture of the TV series Under the Dome and LOST, especially after Flynn and Carl route, but all of this is AWESOME!

Strangely enough but after nights spent reading this masterpiece, I ceased having nightmares.
