I literally just got this one a moment ago.

Basically, just spend your money every chance you get, and never attempt to get more.

Leave Maats money, but pay her back later (you need to accept her final offer in the scene with Nova to even see her again); never negotiate with Chop-Chop (buy what he offers at full price); hammer on that slot machine until you lose so much that the game forces you to stop; intentionally lose against Dalia in "Rock, Paper, Scissors," etc. You end up with only $10 when the purchase for the achievement costs 12.

As this was the last achievement for me to get platinum (for the 0.9 update, anyway), this has been frustrating me for a while, and I'm ashamed that I never considered simply starting on a higher note.
