Thank you!

Thanks!
The way you finished level 6 was not the intended way; you got lucky because of a bug that I fixed a couple of hours after releasing the preview.

Thank you and looking forward to the review!

Thanks and I'm glad you enjoyed it this much. Tenebra 2 for Atari ST will be ready soon, by the way.

Sure, of course. You can contact me at my gmail address haplotenebra. Thanks.

By all means, please do! Thanks again for your support.

Glad you liked it and thanks for your support.

Due to the highly-randomised nature of the game, some runs are more difficult than the others, but in general the game is not that tough. I can beat it almost every time.

There are some helpful hints in the manual, check them out. In the first level heat management is quite important.

What do you mean? Load it in a C64 emulator (i.e. VICE) and use 1531 mouse in port 1 or joystick in port 2.

I'm glad you're enjoying it and thanks for the heads-up about the Crash review.

The NES version is ready.

Of course, by all means!

Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed the game.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked the game.

Why "dreizehn Räume"? It should be "dreiunddreißig Räume".

Yes, you are right! Such an obvious oversight and nobody picked it up in the past year and a half.

Thanks for reporting it.

Thanks. Yes intending to.

Platform limitations. The original title screen needs the full 256 character set, but Atari 8-bit only supports 128. In theory it is possible to just render it directly to the screen, I guess.

There will be. Soon hopefully.

Only joystick is supported.

And sure, send me your questions.

The game runs on a stock Amiga 500, KS1.3 and 512KB of RAM.

Patience, my good man!

Thanks for your support, and be sure to try Tenebra 2 as well!

Hello. I am thinking about creating a Commodore 64 game inspired by this, and wanted to ask for your permission. You can contact me at HaploTenebra at GMAIL. Thanks!

That's strange, no one has reported any problems. And your configuration is quite similar to mine. Would you mind sending me a screenshot of the error message to my email address haplotenebra at gmail?

Not a bad idea, actually!

Thanks for letting me know, I have updated the instructions.

Thanks. It'll come in handy for Tenebra 2.

No worries! Will let you know once it's ready.

Thanks, I was not aware of this. I have updated the binary. Can you please try and let me know if it is better now?

Other people have been using it without any problem. Do you mean something is missing in the XEX header?

Done! It should appear on the site soon hopefully.

Sure. Let me read up on how to do this.

Done!

Done!

Hi

This is strange. The game should be synchronised to 60FPS. Can you please send an email to the address mentioned in the  ReadMe with the specs of your machine and the OS? Thanks.

No, CPU power was the problem. I noticed some slow-downs on A500/A600.

The game was written in 68000 assembly. The levels were designed in CharPad C64 Pro, then fed to a Python script.

Hello, could you please confirm:

  • If you are running on a real A1200 or an emulator,
  • If running on emulator, the name and the version of the emulator (please read the "Note" in the description above regarding some problematic emulator versions)
  • If the animated environmental hazards (plasmas, gases, chompers, etc) kill you.

Thanks.

Yes, I'm planning to.

Haven't done it yet, currently working on Ooze for Amiga. Will upload the Atari version here once ready.

Glad you liked it!
