This is fixed.. update coming soon

Not yet..  Busy working on Zero Wing port for the Neo Geo right now but will come back and sort this TMSS issue out as soon as I can.  I also see a bunch of you are posting flash PCB kits with SRAM?  Where can I find them?  I need about 10 :D

When you upload it to a bbs, this file is picked up and displayed on the file list.

I'll need some screen shots or video

Unzip it first?  There is a .md file inside

Sadly not. The game heavily relies on the proportional font writer and would you believe it?! As powerful as the NeoGeo is, this is something it really can't do :D

can you make about 5 more?  😅

main issue is the soundtrack..  there's just so much of it.

I've explained elsewhere, but the proportional text writer is dam near impossible on a NeoGeo sadly.  Anyway.. I've got other more interesting plans for the NG ;)

Fixed in v1.1

noticed the dual header today while debugging but it's not an issue

Been trying all afternoon to track this bastard bug down. Doesn't happen in emulation, only on my real MD!  We will get there otherwise you'll never see the ending!!!

Have you tried?  MegaSD manual says it should just work as its a standard non-byte swapped rom.

Dam it, I thought I fix the ladder crash.  Will investigate.

Way too much pressure then.  These games are really a byproduct of my curiosity.

I meant to release the amiga one ages ago, guess id better do that.

it's not.  This is only a reality because of the amazing work of Manuel pazos who disassembled and fully commented the original 128kb game.  Solid snake is 512kb!!!

That is the most polite request ive ever had.   Sadly it would be too much work to reverse those changes now and I'm very much done with the project.

😉

The original ending just has the credits in the radio screen.  I didnt feel that was enough of a pay off for conpleting it so added an entirely new end credits sequence and soundtrack.  It did meam making a new tune for it though.

yeah that's normal. Unibios assumes every game will have the logo graphics on the cart. It's very annoying because the tiles aren't just sat in one place.

Ohhhh... ok.  Will investigate

No they don't.

Aww thanks

aww thanks <3

If it detects MVS hardware then it relies on the Freeplay dipswitch setting of the board.  I'm guessing you're running a UniBios and using that to switch to AES?  My guess is that it cannot mask the hardware flag for MVS, which is what I'm reading. I suppose in AES mode it doesn't show "PRESS D FOR OPTIONS" on the title screen either?

Simplest thing to do is to switch off free play on your MVS.  Credits are supported.

Unlikely to be related to anything I'm doing, I have no access to the NeoSD and how it operates with the SD card.  Just sounds like you found an edge case bug in the NeoSD firmware.

Yes.  Make sure you've got the latest firmware and throw it in a homebrew slot

Don't have a CDZ system I'm afraid but most CD issues are down to media or burning speed / software.  I've played it on my NeoGeo CD from disc and it works fine.

The palette thing on stage 5 could well be a mistake on my part. Nobody brought it up in testing so i assumed it was correct.  This "might" get fixed in a later update when im not feeling quite so sick.

The feather bug is not getting fixed. I'll not go into the technical detail as to why but this was the best solution for that reveal.

I'll refer you to the FAQ section.. ;)

Well hopefully you can have golden axe soon enough.

Sorry for the late reply, keep forgetting to check in here.  I take it you were playing on a real AES?  If so, it's a known issue which I haven't managed to find / resolve yet.

Thanks for debugging this.  Good to know it works on original bios at least.

No idea. You probably need NGX tools first.

MVS you need to use the soft dips menu from the bios.
