Hi there!
That is a very good question!.. Haha this pack was made such a long time ago and inconsequential me from the past did not save which palette was used to make it lol
I'm sorry I'm not able to help you with a name. :(
This is a fine crafted and well executed bullet hell experience!
I love the way you've expanded the sprite set to your need in the construction of the game and how you've integrated it to the UI you are using. Also, you've picked a really good font that matches the vibe real good.
You did good with the diverse enemies and patterns, it made the game feel dynamic and challenging even it being enclosed in such a tiny playing area.
Enemy friendly fire was a shocker and I really enjoyed it. I was able to use the enemies' formation to my advange and sorta lign them up so that they shoot one another hahah
Music is good, but I feel something a bit less modern and more 8bit would fit the whole design even better!
Lastly, I felt the progression curve was a bit too steep... I'm not the best gamer hahah but the first enemy after the tutorial was already trouble. It works, don't get me wrong, but you might want to think about lowering the difficulty progression and making the player develop their skills durring a few more lvls before getting to the boss.
But anyways, this is awesome! Keep up the great work :)

Wow, that is awesome, thanks for letting me know about the project's backstory!!!
I've just tested it out and it works great, you did an amazing job with it. And I love that you left the debug in there as a toggle haha I like seeing these small glimpses of the game's inner workings!
Really well done, Adrikat! I wish you the best of luck on getting that internship :)
This is soo gooood!
Such great execution of an old school shmup! Music and sound effects fit real good with the whole aesthetic. Controls are good, UI/UX are excelent. And I love what you did with the color palettes for each segment of the game. It does make you feel you are exploring REALLY different planets and fighting various factions.
Really good job, Sul!
Hi there, it is amazing to hear you'll be using it for a college project!!!
And yeah, I'm totally fine with it being inside a game's public GitHub repo, no problems at all. As long as they are part of a game and not under a "here take this assets" ad thingy, I'm alright, hahaha.
And please keep me updated on it. I love playing games made with my assets!
This is just amazing!
I love what you did with the level selector being a working version of a bunch of game machanics. Makes for a great experience and already works as some sort of unwritten tutorial for new players.
Even though game controls are simple they require some dexterity due to the cursor & peeps distance mechanic. Level design is just great and the start system + timer makes for great replayability.
The music fits great with the asthetics and gameplay. Sound effects and visual effects are great too. And I love the additions you've made to the art asset pack, they fit right in!!
Great work!
I do like the idea of remaking all my 8x8 packs into 16x16 res! I have recently worked on some personal projects exploring the 16x16 resolution and I'm really into it now.
sadly I don't think that will happen anytime soon... Since I've last made some pixel art asset packs a lot has changed: work, projects and life in general. Buuut, if I ever find the time to get back to it, I'll make sure to try remaking this one as you suggested.
Thank you!
Hi there, RSkala!
First of all, I was looking through your itch page and found Space Bits Survival and it is crazy awesome to see that this game is something you've been working on and upgrading for a while now! Space Bits Survival was crazy good already, but Generic Space Shoot is just AMAZING.
Controls are responsive and intuitive, and having gamepad support is superb. Visual effectcs are also beautiful, all those particles flying everywhere fits the astetics so gooood!
Well done!
You have no idea how much I needed to hear that today, Cole&Gram so thanks for that :_)
I've been meaning to get back at asset making but life always gets in the way these days ahahah But I'm sure I'll eventually get into calmer waters again and finally make a come back!
Again, thank you so much for the kind message. It really made my day
Hi there!!
It is just amazing to see games made with the assets I created and what you've got here is crazy awesome! Controls are responsive, gameplay is dynamic, I love the addition of a shop instead of the usual random upgrades and the visual assets were used brilliantly :)
I gotta say though, I found it real difficult, even in the starting waves hahaha I am not the best bullet hell player, but I felt the difficulty scaled too fast. Maybe tune it down a little, giving the player a bit more time to get to know each enemy type, movement and shot pattern.
Anyway, amazing creation. Keep up the good work!!
Pretty cool game!!
I just love the cute little alien ship sprite haha
Gotta say it is quite difficult, but once you get the rhythm going, you start making it further in the level! Gets pretty dynamic with the different shots being fired at you in unique ways and at the beat of the music.
really well done!
Quite a dynamic game with various enemy types to shoot at! I loved the music and graphics. The paralax background with all those colors looks amazing.
The asteroids also being able to kill enemies was a nice addition! I mean, I'm definetely not complaining about getting some powerups from some asteroid kills hahaha!
I didn't last too long though... I think I need to get better at dodging, as my AI co-pilot said.
One thing I think would be a great feature to have would be persistent powerups. I might have died before they started appearing, but it would be nice to have a tiny persistent speed boost, or firing speed persistent boost and that kind of stuff.
Anyway, amazing work! Have a good one :D
Hi hi. It is amazing to hear the assets were put to good use by amazing devs live yourself!
And hey, it seems we will be competing in LowRez Jam, because I'm also working with a friend on a game for it haha! :)
Idk if it is due to some problem on my end, but I find my self unable to load the game, gettin this static grey screen every time I try playing it.
Hey there! Thank you so much for the donation, I really apreciate it. But most importantly, thanks for leting me know about this project!!
I just wishlisted it! It is always amazing to see those sprites in use and you made such good use of them. I love how you have reworked some of them and created whole new characters!
The whole game looks really good and well made. I wish you well and all the luck with game! I'm keen on giving the game a try! :D
Helo there!
It does have Iddle animations. Iddle and attack animations have 2 frames each. The first two frames from each row in the entities files are the frames for the iddle animation, wich is basically the character going up and down.
See the left half of the fourth image from the assets page:

Hope I was able to clear things. Have a nice one!!
