I wasn’t expecting this amount of polish in the jam, I was hooked (pun not intended) with the music, Windows XP style, the fish names, etc. right away when I started the game. The stock market is a great idea to fit into the limitation of the jam, even tho from the others comments it seems that it is overpowered. Also, how did you come up with corporate fishes!? The whole idea and names are so funny lol.

A nitpick that annoyed me a little is how when you catch a fish, you need to wait the animation to have it available in your inventory, I found myself a lot of the times clicking in the Office tab right wanting to place it in a slot and not being able to.

I was not expecting to get this scared when I first started the game, when the door started opening I was tense waiting the final seconds trying to keep it closed. Also on my second play trough, seeing the man on the window getting bigger was scary. I was just a little disappointed on not having a jump scare on the end or something when I porously let him enter the cabin.

You really did use your limited time well, using the images made the game have a rough, but unique, style that worked with the scary theme, I can see with a bit more polish and time it being a lot better. The audio design could use some work specially.

The art style is so unique and colorful, it is just beautiful. I can see the game also had a lot of polish done to it, the audio feels so good, and the gameplay is snappy and creative. Also, the history/“lesson” in the ending of the game felt really sweet.

I was a bit confused on the gameplay, it is good, but it seems that there isn’t a way to fail? I assumed that the objective was to place face features with the same colors as the boxes at the bottom, but even when I placed wrong ones, nothing seemed to change.

The art style, with all the paper collage, really fitted the autumn vibe and visual novel gameplay (also using the Mr. White and Pumpkin as heads did make me laugh lol). Even tho it was a bit repetitive, the music was nice to hear and made the overhaul game feel very chill and cozy. And the end, oh god, the moment he blinked I knew what was going to happen and even it felt like a punch. The singing at the end was a bit loud, but it was shocking and very pleasant to hear.

However, something that felt missing is some gameplay to break the continuous reading and dialogue of the game, even tho it is a visual novel, having some interactivity, like choosing dialog options (even if they don’t change the outcome of the history), would be very welcomed.
