This is a really fun game! It kind of reminds me of Fantina's gym in Pokemon DPPT where all of the gym trainers have a flashlight that give off a triangle shaped range of light. If you get caught in this range, they battle you similar to how you get caught in this game.

For question one, you could possibly expand the range in which the enemies move. They follow a very predictable path so far so it's easy to strategize a simple route. Is it at all possible to randomize their movement or create 2 unique cycles of movement that gets tossed up every so often?

For question two, I personally love games like this so to me it's not frustrating but when I got caught my character completely disappeared off of the screen and I couldn't do anything until I refreshed the page entirely.

I think this is a really fun game idea!

For question one, a grabbing animation would probably improve the idea that the player is a claw that needs to grab things. I actually have a suggestion of possibly adding a "drop" feature when you've picked up the object. Normally, claw machines drop a prize down their chute, not manually extend all the way down. Perhaps you can add something like that for when players reach the end goal of grabbing the object and reaching the prize zone to streamline the winning sequence?

For question two,  I think the project overall does a very good job at conveying the "grab" verb!

1)I think  more difficult-to-navigate environments would make the game more challenging.  Mazes or obstacles that would seem passable at first but are actually not, forcing you to think of other strategic routes could be something cool to implement.

2) I think it would actually be very silly if you had the option of either eating some flies or bringing them all home to the frog mom. You could choose to be cheeky on purpose or actually fulfill the original request which could create multiple different endings. More of your choices could have silly consequences.

I thought this game was really really cute! I definitely had thoughts like these when I was made to play softball when I was little.

1) this game definitely captured a sensation of being forced to participate in school sports. I can definitely relate to the 12 year old.

2) I don't think anything was lacking gameplay-wise. I enjoyed just interacting with various different items. These minimal actions tell a huge story without being super in your face and I really appreciate that!

Before I answer the questions, I just want to say that this was a really delightful mini game to play! The writing was great!!!

2a) I think you were extremely effective in using many different shades of blue to convey your story. While most of the colors were all still blue, each environment was rich and unique in its own way.

2b) getting to the glacier was a little bit of a challenge for me, but other than that I think it was easy to figure out what direction the game was trying to steer me.
