I’m currently developing a top-down life-sim / management game set in a cozy snowy area, and I’m looking for a 2D pixel artist to help bring the world to life.
Scope of work includes:
• Character sprites (player + NPCs)
• Animation frames (walking, idle, simple interactions)
• Environment tilesets (interiors, terrain, trees, props)
• UI elements (menus, buttons, HUD)
• Items and objects (furniture, decor, equipment, etc.)
Style direction:
Think cozy pixel-art similar to games like Stardew Valley or Heartbound — warm, readable, and expressive.
What I’m looking for:
• Experience creating pixel art for games
• Ability to work with tilemaps and sprite sheets
• Consistent art style across characters, environments, and UI
• Bonus if you’ve worked in GameMaker or similar 2D engines
Project details:
• Indie project in active development
• Paid contract work
• Flexible timeline, but looking to start soon
If you’re interested, send:
• Portfolio / examples of pixel art
• Your rates
• Availability
DM me or reply here. Looking forward to collaborating with someone who loves building cozy game worlds.
