interesting concept, i think it's well made. it's just that the controls are a bit frustrating at times and i feel that there could have been more interesting strategy in the gameplay if the environment itself had more challenges to navigate. i feel that as it stands the turn-based element makes it just sort of feel like a game of snake but you have to click every time you want to move the snake one pixel. great work overall though.
This game was really cool and interesting. I loved the interactivity and slow paced gameplay that got you immersed into the world. The story was creepy and good and it was just overall an enjoyable experience.
My friend watched me play and said: It's clear that you put a lot of work into this game and it shows. It's a beautiful piece of horror and I loved every second of it. What did the pastries mean?
This game is really nice!
I think the art and animation is just phenomenal. I love the music, and I liked how it interacted with things happening in the environment, especially during the boss battle. I noticed some of the instruments were proximity based and emanated from the enemies themselves which is just a really rad idea.
I do have to say, and I notice some others might agree with me here, the gameplay is a bit frustrating. I think there could have been some more wiggle room or something, perhaps multiple hit points that you can take before having to load a checkpoint? This was in effect during the boss battle. The nature of the golf mechanic turns something genuinely frightening into a tedious chore. Especially during the stay in the light segment, that went way too far with it and made me annoyed haha. It's a shame because I imagine it might keep some players from reaching that knockout ending. But the gameplay idea is bold, and I understand where it's coming from.
Overall, the delightfully weird and imaginative concept alone sold me on the game and on you being an excellent creator! Keep it up! I'm a fan now, after playing Liminal Ranger and then this.
hey really nice game. cool story. i thought the clue about the vhs tape could've been better, was a little confusing. i liked the ending. i also liked that you do nice things for the characters to get information instead of like beating them up or threatening them or something. great work. keep it up.
