I love this idea, I love me some cryptids! I know this is bare bones as you said but i think it's good so far! I think adding a color scheme and some click to reveal text (I forget what the term is called) for some of the longer paragraphs of conversation will add to the already solid story you have going.  :)

I love this idea of this game, i love the dark comedy feel of it. A fun addition to the beginning of the game would be a "choose your chicken" kind of like a choose your fighter esc intro, that every time you start over you can choose a new chicken, and maybe their names can be randomized to something funny like "Clucky, Destroyer of Worlds" or "Ruffles the Demon Slayer." I like the concept and can't wait to see more if you choose to continue this!

I would protect this cat with my life, i love them. The visuals of the game fit the theme really nicely! As others mentioned I would love to see this sweet cat. As well as have some sort of almost airy sort of white noise in the background, to make the void feel more empty and lonely in the beginning, to really drive home that sense of atmosphere you built. All n all you did a really nice job with this game!! :)

I like this concept, its super cute!! These little bird illustrations are adorable and fit so well with the vibes of this game.  If you continue this game for the final I would love to see a background of the forest or of a nature esc color scheme, to help tie in the games visuals with the story as the black background is a bit jarring. 

I love the idea of having a set list of items then going to look for said items, with the added layer of spook, very fun!! I would love to hear some audio for the  shampoo bottle falling or for the intruder, i feel the addition of audio would ramp up that feeling of anxiety and add just a little flair to an already tense scene. 

“Where abouts are you from” has an error:  "Changers like (link:) need to be combined using + between them.” as well as a spare ] in the passage. Also the game is hard to view in the small windowed mode, it needs to be played in fullscreen to get the view of the whole game, editing the viewpoint window option in itch.io should help with that. Otherwise I love the game, The art is really nice and sets the tone well! I'm curious to know more about these characters and this world!

I love the concept of this. There is a missing image in the “across the table” path but otherwise it played well! I like the characters and would love to have more interactions and even rejections. I love X-Droid, I want to know more about this sweet bot!

This was such a cute game, I love the idea of magic mixed with baking! The colors and aesthetics of the game are very visually pleasing. I would love to see more recipes and interactions later in the game if you decide to work on this for your final!

The art of romance: I found a small bug that gave me a chuckle. I was in Aspen’s studio for the first time and looked at their camera and the set up, and they comedically blocked the entire bit of text and made it so that path couldn’t be continued. It’s like they’re trying to hide something hehe. There are also a couple of broken images on those two pages as well, though I don’t know if that is a result of Aspen taking over the screen. The concept and characters are very cute!
